Bee hives, a new chapter at the farm

Bee hives, a new chapter at the farm as finally started. This was something we always wanted and finally the bees are here.
This is my first time ever building a bee hive and if that was not scary enough I build 10 hives with little instructions. What I thought to be a easy process turned out to be harder than I thought but the satisfaction of knowing that this is going to bring so much benefits to the farm and local area just makes it all worthwhile.
Having a permission to camp is one of the ultimate goals of a wild camper or bushcrafter and I count myself very lucky to have this farm as my own haven where I can practice bushcraft, wild camp and evolve in my journey of learning about nature and homesteading. These are vital skills that I hopefully can use when I eventually get my own space. All the tasks I have carried out at the farm is for me a learning experience that I can eventually implement to a off grid lifestyle.
My wife never shared this outdoor passion but in the last year she has totally turned round and now understands the importance of this lifestyle so this is defiantly my end goal.
Apart from my personal reasons I get to see this place evolve and the owner get drawn closer to nature.
The bees are such an important addition to the local area and pollination of local plants that this is a must in my opinion. North wales has some amazing spaces to offer bees a home full of rich environment.
