Happy New Year! Like you I like a sirloin, but that cut after you cooked it looked scrummy! Doing the veg whilst resting the meat is a great idea. Thank you.

Thanks mate you legend :) thumbs up from me. Girello roast perfect
Happy New Year!!
Prospero Año Nuevo!!
I was up all night last night smoking two briskets that seem to me to be perfect.
I told everybody that this coming year I'm taking 2023 off from lighting the fire box at 7 PM the night before and wake up every 2 hours from 10 PM till it's time to take the meat off the smoker.
It's hits a bit different when you're in your 50s.
It was windy last night so it wasn't an easy cook but anyone who smokes meat and lives on a coast can understand.
Oh well at least I got to take a good nap this afternoon.
And who am I kidding?
Ask me on the third of July what'll be served here on the 4th!!
Cheers and keep doing what you do.
Cheers mate!

I have a question for ya, my wife n I are coming over to Adelaide start of May for a few days, any recommendations on quality bbq or steak restaurants over there, cheers brother
@@blueenglishstaffybreeder6956 give low n slow in port Adelaide a go, bloody good feed. Gauchos for steak too.
Legend thanks brother
Love your work.... and now I'm starving.... I have a question, I don't know whether you'll get to see it but I have to cook 2 legs of lamb in one Webber. I typically cook 1 hour per kilo for a single leg... I'm not sure what time to plan for.... I imagine that two legs will absorb more heat of course.... but I can't imagine that it will be twice the time.... do you or anyone else here know? Cheers for the help!
Hey mate! Any chance you could do a whole chicken rotisserie video? Love the channel mate 👌
Cheers mate. Can do!
Think this would work for a boller roast? Or could suggest a cook on kettle? Thanks
Love your vids but in Australia we cook our beef the cows make it
Cheers and happy New year.
🤘
what advice would you give if I wanted to cook beef and pork at the same time; can it be done? My other option is to cook one on a charcoal rotisserie and one in the Weber. Cheers
Would you cook a sirloin the same way at the same temperature
Can you please do a cubed roll ? I get them here in nz and I trim it all up and follow the natural seams of the cut, I get like 3 different cuts, and I don't really know what I'm doing lol. Please help. Love ya vids mate
Definitely on the list.
Moister Than A God Damn Oyster For Being A Less Expensive Cut Of Meat!
Absolutely 🤘🙏
Is there any point to smoking a roast like this at a low temp like 140 celius over a longer time? my butcher said to wrap in foil for most of cook if your cut is really lean and then take foil off for last 30 minutes. What are your thoughts?
Good video thanks.
Why do you remove so much fat though?
Crisped on the barbecue, fat is the best bit.
Cheers mate. Most are sold with no fat.
Great looking roast. Can you tell me about your filleting knife, brand, where to buy etc?
Thanks mate. Check the description for links
@@LownSlowBasics cheers mate. I can’t get the coupon LOWNSLOW10 accepted at the check out though 🤷🏻♂️
@@donr62 let me follow it up, maybe try all lower case? Are you going through victorinox.com.au ?
@@LownSlowBasics yes mate. I tried again on another device and this time a message came up saying that the coupon expired 30 Dec 22. Never mind, I went ahead and bought the knife anyway. It was only a $5 saving for this purchase. Something to sort out for your other viewers going forward. All good 👍
@@donr62 cheers legend I’ll follow it up with Victorinox 🙏
What is your preferred best Weber roast meat??
Pork loin roast I reckon 🤘
What are those fire lighters like. $23 for 15 seems pricey.
They are bloody good. Could probably use just 1 instead of 2-3 to be honest.
See you in 1/2 hr 🤪
😆🤘
Cooking temperature of 250ºC wow isn't that too hot?
