All of your blouses are beautiful.
Thank you!
I bought my pattern in early 2023 in Australia and unfortunately has the error with the back piece being an inch too short. Thankfully I'd seen this video before attempting to put it together and so saved myself some time and energy. Thank you for highlighting this error!
You're welcome! It's too bad they haven't corrected it yet. It's been over a year!
Thanks for this review! I had this exact error for size 16 and was searching online everywhere to see if anyone else had the same issue, I’m so glad I found your review! Will be doing the same fix. Thanks again!
Hi Elise! I'm so happy to hear this review was helpful! Thanks for the feedback!
I never would have thought to check that. Thanks!
You're welcome! I'm hoping that thus was an error on my copy and not the entire batch that was sent out.
love this pattern! i am hoping to make it sometime this season so thanks for the head's up about the error. i will make a note to look for it on mine.
pretty blouses and the your colors choices are perfect.
Thank you Dianne!
You always as usual look fab in prints and skirts. The blue duo +++.
Thanks for your review Tea - I have this pattern on order and I'll be making view D or C. The tip about the pattern error is very useful, and I'll let you know if the same thing occurs with my pattern pieces. Also wanted to say that I really enjoy all your videos, and look forward to them - I was very inspired by your video about making matching tops and skirts, which I've watched several times now. I really love the idea of an outfit that looks like a dress but is incredibly practical/economical when it comes to mix and match and expanding my wardrobe. Thanks Tea :)
Love your mockup fabric and it is beautiful!
Thank you! 😊
Can confirm the error. The back piece is indeed too short by an inch. I'm a beginner, so grading the pattern will be a challenge. Wish Simplicity would issue a corrected printable pattern piece.
Agreed!
I am in LOVE with the cuff on the violet top🥰🥰🥰
Thank you! The pattern doesn't come with the cuff. I self drafted that piece. I don't know if I mentioned that. I sure do love a cuff!
That’s a really pretty blouse, especially after you slashed and spread the sleeve! 💕 I wonder if the big 4 pattern makers publish erratta data on their websites? It’s been many years since I’ve sewn with anything other than indie patterns. That would be interesting to find out.
I'm glad you figured out that error in the pattern. I love the neckline on this blouse and each version looks great on you!😊
Thanks Crystal! It was super easy to correct the error. I'm glad I noticed it on the mockup.
I saw that pattern and almost bought but because I thought the neckline would be too low I did'nt get it. Thanks to your video I was proven wrong.I will be purchasing the pattern. That pre-pleated skirt is a show stopper! Love it!
I love your videos. I get so excited when I see a new one! Your tops are gorgeous and the skirt is too! Everything I've seen on your videos looks so good on you! Thanks again for sharing and giving me sewing inspiration!
Hi Beverly! Your comment is the highlight of my day! You're so kind! Blessings!
These are some beautiful coordinating pieces. Great color palette and fabric choices.
Thank you! I'm in love with this collection!
Hi, all the views look great on you! I have just started making this pattern and have it cut out. Have just been and checked and the front and back are the same length so it looks like they have amended the pattern. I only purchased this about two weeks ago in the UK. Great sewing, Sue UK xx
Hi Sue! Thanks for sharing this info! Blessings! I hope you like the pattern!
Another beautiful garment! You do an amazing job! Love your outfits!
Thank you!
I have this pattern will check for the error thank you !
Gorgeous tops, Tea! Great review! 💗
Thank you! Happy sewing!
Thank you so much for this video. I thought I was going mad trying to sort out what I had done wrong. I searched the web to find someone else who had come across the error on the pattern. Yours seemed to be the only other incorrect pattern. Sanity restored.
Pattern bought August 2022 in UK!
Super cute, I cut this pattern out weeks ago but haven't sewn her up yet this will push me to make it this month love how yours turned out
Thank you! It was a super fun pattern! It was fun despite the issue!
Looks good ! Love it , you did a great job.
Thank you!
Nice work and good job on spreading that error and being able to correct it! Also, thank you so much for sharing it too! I love the look of this top on you and especially with the cuff you decided to add, just absolutely adorable! And you look very so happy wearing it too! Thanks for sharing Ms. Tea!
Well hello Myra!!! So good to hear from you friend! Thanks so much! I like the cuff over the elastic. Its more comfortable!
Hi Tea, I checked my pattern and found that the versions C and D are definitely out - but this time by around 3/8th inch for the size 24 and a little more than this for size 16...! Think you said that yours had an inch difference? Strange that they're both out, but by by a different amount!
I bought my pattern in the uk, but not sure if or why that would make a difference, as its the same company after all.
Thanks for the heads up on this - I would not have thought to check beforehand, but I will check every pattern from now on . I have made a few things in the past that were out on seam lengths and just assumed it was down to a mistake I'd made... That's made me feel a bit better anyhow - not necessarily all my fault! :D
Oops - I was wrong - when I came to trace out the pattern for view C, I found that it was almost an inch and a half out on the side seam, even more in the centre of the hem! Your blouses look lovely though, so I'm hoping that if I match the side seams on the tracing paper mine will turn out ok.
Love the outfit with the purple skirt. Do you have a pattern for the skirt or a video?

Thanks for making this video. I have this pattern and am about to make it, so your advice on size 16 pattern C is timely. What fabrics did you use? Especially love the blue with red flowers. They all look great
I used two stretch chiffon fabrics and a crepe fabric all from Joann
I made the v neck. It gapes. Any sugestions. The fabric is pleated
Hmm, the pleats may be the reason for the gaping. Do a test garment/ mockup and see if you have the same problem. If you do, I would remove a quarter of an inch from the neckline. Measure the gape first. You may need to remove more or less.
@@crumpetsteaandsewing thank you. I tried it and its better
Awesome! I'm glad that helped
Feb 2024, I purchased the pattern today and the side seams are still off by 1 1/4” 😮
That's too bad. They had enough time to correct this. Disappointing
