Thank you so much for such a great review. I watched this video off my dad’s iPad when I was 5. I begged for this for years for my birthday. Eventually my parents found one for me and it’s been one of my most prized possessions throughout my childhood. I’m still one of the biggest Scooby doo fans ever and now I go out and enjoy Scooby doo type shenanigans with my friends in highschool. I hope I and everyone else continues to appreciate toys.

@boeingnz no, I believe that would be the remote controlled Mystery Machine, the Mystery Machine playset looked just like this one except it has the spare tire on the front of the van and more cartoon accurate stickers

i am a scoobyaholic i am 13-14 and i still love scooby doo. I asked my mum if i could get that she said no, but i have the whole gang with the scoobydoo that has a "scared" switch thingy so i'm happy
@siimkid Fraid not, even though the episode "The Ghost of the Bad Humor Man" was from the Scooby doo series, it was from part of the lost episodes that eventually made it to air as stand alone episodes and paired up with the Scooby-Doo/Dynomutt Hour which featured episodes from both series in the show airing. The Ghost of the Bad Humour man was paired up with the Dynomutt episode The Lighter than Air Raid episode, if you have the box set you can find it on Disc 4, Side 2...hope that helps

I like playing with the twist ties. That sound weird But when ever i get a baribe or somthing with twist ties, i keep them to make stuff with.
I think what makes this Mystery Machine look odd compared to the original aside from the decals that are there to signify that this is the Ghost Patrol set is that everything else is based around how the Mystery Machine appeared in the live-action movies which was a modified Australian Holden van and really was just supposed to be a modern update. My guess is that Character was thinking more about how to make the playset more appealing to children and so they went with a scheme that they thought was more universally recognized by kids of the 2010s.

Wow, they really don't do any quality control on the packaging Oo Also, it's weird that they say "ghosts" when half of the time it was also monsters, especially since they include a zombie. Oh, I thought the flavored ghosts were from the New Scooby Doo Movies =x Plus the ghost accessories aren't scaled at all XD Lame that they didn't sculpt in features and the stickers on the side are lame. I want to pick up a MM eventually, maybe I'll look for the first one.
I remember both of those episodes I am a kid
I have this set, I got it when I was 5 and I still have it but it is very old......... The stickers are all scratched...

The UK version is discontuned, but it came with scooby and the eye/tounge feature.
I was just lucky enough to find it, but I no longer have the scooter/ghosts/Shaggy.

Really cool looking meddling kids I do not know are you into wrestling figures but they are a Scooby Doo set with John Cena saw in Kmart I know you did this review 3 years ago but if you like it you can check it out
Why didn't you just cut the wires with old red? Oh when I was a little kid I was ver impatient that instead of undoing the wires I ripped the figures from the wires. Good thing I did no harm on the figures.
