It has been a lifelong dream of mine to one day travel to Iceland and experience its breathtaking nature firsthand, while also capturing it with my own eyes and a drone. Join us on this unforgettable journey through some of the most spectacular landscapes in the world. From majestic glaciers to thundering waterfalls to geothermal wonders.
We spent every day exploring the beauty and diversity of Iceland, using our DJI Mavic 3 Pro drones almost every day to capture breathtaking aerial footage.
During our 21-day journey, we covered an incredible 5000 km by car, exploring many corners of this fascinating island. We drove through the stunning Highlands and also along the famous Ring Road.

Well done! Very, very well done! I was lucky enough to visit Iceland for a music video shoot years ago (Edge of Paradise - Face of Fear) flying the dji Mavic Air. By today's standards, it's close to obsolete, but what a great place! Looking forward to heading back with a more modern drone.

Thanks for sharing. It took me multiple trtips to visit all these sites so shout-out you managed to visit all this beauty scattered accross gthe country in just 21 days. Personally, I find the reds a bit too much but for the rest bravo !

May I ask what were your camera settings on this drone? Was it shot in h.265 or ProRes? What software did you use for editing and grading?

Hi Dennis, great movie, I will be in Iceland next week with the same drone, since you offered here are my questions:
1: Did you had to do a lot of stabilization in Post? Your videos seems incredible stable
2: A lot of F-roads are currently closed due to the weather, when was this footage taken?
3: How many batteries did you take with you and how long did they approximately last in these weather conditions?
4: How was the overall satellite connection while flying, did you use the RC Pro?
5: Did you ask for any permits to fly or did you have any problems with local authorities or park rangers?
6: Where is 7:17 and 13:04
7: 9:01 is Mulagljufur Canyon, did you hike all the way up there or could just fly the drone from the parking lot?
8: How did your Mavic 3 Pro handle the weather/wind, rain etc and how did you take care of it?
9: Any tips on what you learned, or things that caught you off guard or would definitely advise?
10: And finally any things you regret?
