You forgot to mention a really important foundational fact about Goldman sacs in the very beginning- they started to revive the small businesses that were being denied loans because they were Jewish; it was the discrimination of Jewish people that gave rise to the bank. Goldman said fine if they won’t fund us we will. That was the start. Super important to understand.

I watch several CZcams videos on how to trade in the stock market but haven't made any head start because they are either talking some gibberish or sharing their story of how they made it and I do not want to make mistakes by taking risks in my own hands

Your best information will come from encyclopedia of chart patterns, it’s a long book but you don’t have to read it from cover to cover. It’s just a reference. Also, if you have an account with Charles Schwab you will gain access to thinkorswim they have a paper trading part of it for practice. Long story short the best way is to find a strategy you like and jump in on it with the paper trading. In Paper trading everything is real except for the money you use.

I have been binge watching your channel recently and I must say I have yet to not be impressed. Every video is an unbiased, well researched gem presented in laymen’s terms so people like myself who aren’t particularly versed in the financial world can follow along.
I disagree your videos fail to call these criminals out for the crimes they didn't get charged with or to speculate why no one even asked the hard questions. All money is created through debt. If all debt is repaid there is no money left in existence to pay the interest accrued. It's a slave system by design.
One just cant stop watching ,its unimaginable the kind of research and effort that goes into bringing up a phenomenon as this. Big ups

I would like to add that Hank Paulson managed to sell his entire stake in Goldman's stock and stock options prior to his appointment as Secretary of the Treasury when the stock was near its pre-GFC peak. On top of that, the Bush administration also created a loophole so Hank can conduct the sale without having to pay any capital gain tax, as an incentive for him to come join the administration.
That's the reason they all join the government to avoid taxes.
@Kavin Kang a whole lotta firms, depends on what division of BX your talking about. If it’s the main corporate LBO Area then you’re looking at KKR, Apollo, Carlyle, maybe Goldman’s private equity division, and really whoever else is doing deals at the “mega fund” level. If it’s the real estate side, I don’t know that as well but I imagine it’s basically any PE firm with a big real estate portfolio or any other big real estate investor/corporation/who traffics in real estate heavily.
@Kavin Kang you could try, depends on the specific person really and if they place clients in those funds. I imagine closer to Wall Street the better. An investment banker who actually works with those firms or a commercial banker who lends them money for the deals would probably be better to speak with. Wall Street oasis is a good website with some good info as well from people who either work in the industry or are trying to work in the industry

Say what you want about Goldman Sachs, but almost everyone who studied finance in school and works in finance has at some point in their lives dreamed of working at Goldman Sachs. That of course includes myself.
Theyre nothing but parasites. Get a real role model, kid. 🤣

@Earth Yes, and in spite of their crooked dealings in 2008, Hank Paulson who had been the head of GS was Secretary of the Treasury. In my mind, the conflict of interests in Bush and Paulson's side was corrupt from the start. He's the guy who began the mortgage derivatives sub-prime lending scheme to people who could never repay their loans and were a sure risk from the start. To then turn around and bet against them, resulting in the loss of homes was in fact criminal.
Bush made the person responsible for initiating the idea of marketing, packaging and selling sub-prime mortgages the head of the Treasury. In what universe does any of this make sense, sound fiscally and ethically responsible and have taxpayers fund GS bailout. I read that the Rothschild's also bailed GS out. That December, GS had a huge Christmas bash, paid out huge bonuses to top and even some middle managers and mortgage brokers elsewhere, while the American taxpayers were still reeling from it all.
Many homes lost were rebought for pennies on the dollar by Trump's Treasury Secretary, Steven Mnuchin, who made hundreds of million in profits. I'm not a finance expert, but a scam that caused a global financial crisis, then uses taxpayer money to render the responsible criminals, including Paulson, totally immune from any charges is beyond the pale, a tiny indicator of where we're headed now.
Iceland is the only country who refused to bail out their banks. They suffered a bit for a handful of years, but later property prices increased, which makes me wonder if we could've done the same, at least with the main perpetrators at GS.

Great story telling. The wisest thing that should be on everyone's mind currently should be to diversify in different streams of income that doesn't depend on the govt. Especially with the current economic crisis around the world.>
The key to big returns is not big moving stocks. It's managing risk in relationship to reward. Having the correct size on and turning your edge as many times as necessary to reach your goal. That holds true from long term investing to day trading. This can only be done by a professional financial adviser.
