Excellent interview, thank you for uploading. EDIT: I'm a dummy. I forgot about Hit Hierarchy. I keep looking at the rules and online content and I have a odd question: perhaps I missed it, but what is the benefit of the Rear Zone in the battles? Why bother putting Cavalry in the Rear when its attack value is doubled in the Front?
EDIT: I'm a dummy. I forgot about Hit Hierarchy. Brilliant. Thank you, sir. @@randyvandyke1 , but aren't hits assigned by the attacker? If defenders assigned hits that would make perfect sense and I'd feel silly for missing the obvious, but the example battle on page 21 of the draft rules shows attackers assigning hits to targets in respective zones.
@@randyvandyke1 , would be cool to playtest deploying Light and Heavy Infantry formations to the Rear Zone as a fusilier/ rear guard/ reserve. Reduced attacks, but protecting the Artillery and maintaining a Triad Bonus.
@@randyvandyke1 , I completely forgot about Hit Hierarchy, making my question silly. Still, it is terrifying to imagine Cavalry as the sole rear guard shielding Artillery with their flesh. I suppose padding the Rear Zone with Infantry would ruin the balance, but I feel sorry for the horses. 😁
Is the game on Tabletop Simulator? If not, when will it be up? I am interested in this game but want to play it before considering getting an official physical copy
Good information, found this after the kickstarter
Thanks
You’ll enjoy it!

You are correct I think. I have made the same point to the developers. Still developing.
