    Having one of these put into a Host Mammoth slide in camper. Looking forward to not having a black tank! How is the propane use on yours?

    Is this a new version or something? I have never seen this one with the raised back on it. The propane model I know is called the Freedom. What is the model of this one?

      This is called the Travel. The picture doesn’t have the back but it does when installed.

    Just my two cents I'm interested in getting one of these but the liner part kind of gets to me it's like an extra step before I do my business however I was thinking what would happen if someone were to use it without the liner and REPLACE the liner part with a non-stick anti flammable material (teflon) CAN YOU TRY IT?

      Lol. We’ll stick with the liners
 neat and no mess. Haven’t had that sense of urgency where ya couldn’t drop in a quick liner. They live in the drawer next to the toilet.

    honest question, i get that you won't smell any of it inside the toilet room or cabin/rv space, BUT, are you able to smell the stool/poop gas from outside? it can be toxic gas even, so seriously wondering how much it is 'smellable'.

    • @tracksandtails
      @tracksandtails  Pƙed 5 měsĂci +3

      If you’re outside and it’s flushed , depending on the wind/weather there can be an odor. It smells more like the wax liners burning I guess. I do not notice any kind of irritation from it or anything. But there is an odor from burning

    • @tracksandtails
      @tracksandtails  Pƙed 9 měsĂci +2

      It’s fine. It really doesn’t get super hot. But you can definitely feel the hot air coming out the roof if you go up and put your hand near it. You can hear the propane ignite and then it vents out. You can kind a know when it’s time to clean out the incinerator bowl because you’ll start to smell the wax liners that you use. You never do smell any kind of waste though.

      Yes. You drop in a wax paper that kind of looks like a coffee filter and it catches everything and then goes into the incinerator.

      @@tracksandtailsI will definitely get it for my first van since even a dumb micro apartment rent is ridiculous and I am very hygienic. One question if you dont mind, is there any bad smell coming from the exhaust, and if so is it very present or not? I expect it to be top of the line since it is like 1/8 the cost of my entire van conversion lol. Thanks 💕

      Yes. You insert a wax paper insert, sort of like a coffee filter, that fits the shape of the bowl (purchased in packets separately). Can let it mellow or flush it down but the incinerator chamber takes care of everything.

      That's a silly question. Who would ever have a system of using two different toilets when what's coming out of a person usually all comes out at the same time?
