his week I build a tv tray. It was a fun and easy project. I used a festool domino for all the joinery but you you could easily build this using dowels, half lap joiner or even pocket holes.

Elegancy in simplicity ... neat.
Thank you!
Looks great! Simple and modern. I’m using this as inspiration and am thinking about adding hardware to make the table surface slide out even closer to people. Hoping all that won’t ruin the simple modern look.
Nice table
Great design and super smooth video, made it look easy as!
Thanks!
Nicely done Wes! We use the fold away trays but I can see the benefit of a well built sturdy tray like that. Now I will have to make me one of those! Thanks.............. 👍👍😉😉
Thanks! I built this for my mom. She currently is using a folding one and she complained about how flimsy it was.
Looks great! I don't know the measurements, and if I did, I don't have those tools, but I'm inspired to do what I can with what I have.
Awesome!
Nice!
👍 Nice work Wes! I love the high tech measuring device you used to create the rounded corners on the table top.🤣
Hahaha! Thanks. A can of wood putty isn’t just for filling holes!
Very nice. Well done. ✅
Thanks man!
Nice work Wes, I really like your brand. I have always thought those were a really cool idea.
Thanks!
NICE!!!! 🔥🔥🔥
Thanks!
Thanks for the video, and what are the measurements for all the parts of the table?
This is a good idea. I cant tell you how many times I have pinched fingers in the damn things over the years.
Looks like ash to me. One of my favourite woods. Awesome project! Something I would use.
It is ash. As soon as I cut into I immediately recognized the smell.
I know this is 3 years old but I’m doing this as my first ever wood working attempt. I’m using value wood from Menards kind of as a challenge to take really bad wood and make it look nice for a table. I have ran into my first obstacle I think and I have cut things at 45 degree angles and I see yours is coming in at an angle haha I’d love to know what angle you used? I have to imagine it’s to make the support stronger. Thanks a ton
Heck Yez u da man brudd
Nice table. What's the dimensions and angle degrees?
Do you have a cut list?
What were the angels you cut the legs at for the top and bottom?
but you forgot to paint it!
Looks good. Your new outro music threw me for a loop as I know I've heard it before... took a moment, but I remember that this is the same music that "The History Guy" uses for his outro music. I started watching that channel as he is a good story teller. Found out about him when he did a video on the Robertson screw which went semi-viral and then drove a ton of traffic to my robertson-screw videos.
My dad is going to finish it, I built it for my mom. I was searching for music I haven’t hear on other channels and came across that one. I will have to watch the history guys video now.
@@WesHamstra yeah, I'm just using youtube audio library music on the rare occasion that I use it. I've heard others using the same stuff on rare occasions, but my current outro music I've never heard yet. Yet being the keyword. Unless you commission some original music there's not much else we can do.
Do you have plans? I will also be making one for my mom. Thanks
It would nice if you would give more info!
Can u supply the measurement specs thks
Do you have a cut list for this? If so how can I get it?
Great job what are the angles cut at
If you use 50 degrees on the bottom that will equal 100. Now you’ll need to make the top 40 degrees each to make it level. Whatever you decide, remember to make it equal 180. If you use different angles, you’ll have to adjust the board dimensions, so better to cut the same.
Would really liked if u put the size of the boards and everything in the description
I’d like to try building this table. Do you have the dimensions. I don’t have all the milling tools you have. Just a table saw and a dowel jig.
More specific info would be awesome.

Nice table. What's the dimensions and angle degrees? can you pls share them?
Hi Could I have the measurements of the corners of your project?
Is their a way to get dimensions?
Hi Wes, just come across your video, I want to build this T.V. Tray for my Sister in Law,
Sadly she suffers from Parkinsons disease & Dementia, she is very unsteady on her feet so my brother takes her meals into the lounge for her so she has no need to walk into the dining room.
The problem with that is she struggles to balance a tray on her knee, so this would be ideal.
As one or two others have mentioned, there are no dimensions or angles with the video, would you please put what angles the joints are please, I should be able to work the lengths out.
Its a thumbs up & subscribe+ notifications from me, thanks again for the video
Very nice wes. See u got the dominoes. Is it everything they say it is?
Thanks. It’s everything and more. I love it so far.
I know a bunch of people asked but do you have a cut list
ok the branding is just pure show off :) very nice but wondering if some kind of reinforcing on the inside near angles might be needed ( i like my trays to reach up to my chest when eating on the sofa
What size round over bit are you using for the edges?
1/8” round over
Thanks
How can I get the plants to the Z shape TV tray you built
Are you still available
What are the angles for the legs?
I made this so long ago and can't exactly remember. I am thinking it was a 10 degree
Don’t worry about the cut list just try to figure it out after you go out and buy $8,000.00 worth of equipment
What was you height?
WHAT ANGLE ARE MITERS ?
Try 50 on each for the bottom and 40 on each for the top.
nice table .....video not much help without some dimensions and angles though
Wes, why don’t you make a video showing us how to use the Domino
I just got it. This is my second project with it. I am still learning how to use it.
To all of you who have asked for a cut sheet apparently this guy is un willing to share that information stand by and I will figure it out and share it with all of you
Thanks. I made this on the fly for a client. I don’t currently don’t have this table in my possession to make plans for it.
Following!
Overkill on the dominos tho
Not at all...
Ya make it look too easy.
You know...anyone with all these expensive tools....doesn't need to watch your video.
