I have been spinning on an Ashford Joy wheel for a few years now. I just bought my second wheel, and she is a single treadle. I have spent the last three frustrating hours trying to treadle. I came on CZcams looking for someone to help me figure out how to use a single treadle. I followed along with your song, and am now finally treadling! Woohoo!
Omgoodness this has made me sooo happy! ❤ it’s hard isn’t it but once you can get a rhythm in your head your away! If you watch part 2 I also count while treadling and spinning. I am so very pleased this has helped you 😊

Very helpful vlog thank you I will definitely be watching you more . I’m a complete beginner in fact I’ve not even got a wheel yet ! I’ve wanted to learn for several years but I’m struggling to decided what to get to start with . I like yourself have back trouble also arthritis in my knees , hips, hands and neck so feel it is very important what I get .
Yes I totally agree the which wheel is very important. Having used more than one I realised that and the double treadle was definitely the one I found easier. I wish you good luck and I shall be posting more spinning videos now I’ve got my mojo back 🥰
