im a lakers fan, been one my whole life... I wouldn't compare the stitching of Mitchell and ness to the store bought jerseys, they would always sell them with different tech or different specs then you would see on court. I had purchased the Kobe 04 all star at staples and how all star was sewn onto a patch under the number then sewn onto the jersey like it is on court wasn't how it was done for the authentic reebok... same with the all star from Arizona it was sold as a dri fit jersey not rev30 the purple also on Mitchell and ness is a truer shade if you look at when the lakers play the timberwolves the purple matches it
Yeah we never quite get what the players get. Also the lakers played in different shades of purple throughout , the purple on the 2001 all star game jersey is faded much like the purple we get from Mitchell and ness.
