10 minutes of HD emotions and energy with the incredible "tribal" group from Scotland - CLANADONIA!
They performed this year at Celtica Festival in Val Veny (Aosta-Italy). This performance took part on the "Big Stage" in Peuterey Wood, which is the heart of the whole Festival.
On "Yabassa", the last track, Clanadonia share the stage with Dominic Graham School of Irish Dance (Ireland)!
It is really amazing to hear them live and to feel the energy they give you with their music and rhythm, even if there are just +8° out there and you are freezing ;)) You definitely need some mead around you!

One of my favourite bands and good sound/picture, however the panning was to fast and somehow erratic and so was the zoom. Interesting scenes/details where missed, due to too much zoom, that would have made this video very good. Nonetheless a very good effort. Many thanks.
I read that the army sent by Caesar was lead by one of his best “captains” The Roman Empire wanted to rule Scotland. When the Roman army encountered 100’s of Scots approaching over the hills playing this music they were certainly intimidated. It was reported that these were barbaric peoples.
Micky Mouse fake tourist music, these military style bag pipes didn't appear until the 18th century, before that the traditional pipes were Uilleann pipes, a completely different sound and style of music and the drums never existed in Scotland until the British Army introduced them, also in the 18th century, that's a 1820 years after the Romans left. As for their costumes, pure braveheart fiction.
