Man, if all teachers were like you, the world would be a better place for sure. Your videos are not only informative but fun too and that's freaking awesome, thanks a lot. Salute from Brazil.
@@Danny-Stylish no, it is wrong. In Spanish you say "quién" as subject and "a quién" as object: Subject: Quién es ella? Quién está a la puerta? Quién llama? Quién quiere comer? Object: A quién invitaste? A quién llamas? A quién contaste eso? (Erróneamente dicho: A quién le contaste eso, ya que "le" es dativo y se refiere al acusativo "a quién"). Puedes preguntar correctamente: Quién llamas? Quién invitas?
I've never understood the difference between these, but thanks to you now I'm so happy to know these differences. I've always thought it was so difficult, but instead it's not like this. Thanks, Papa teach me!
THIS is the best explanation of the who and whom issue because most teachers focus on the correct grammar and completely ignore the fact that it actually sounds very pretentious to use whom and you will sound like you just walked out of a Shakespeare play! Most teachers don't take the time to explain this and these days it is so old fashioned and no longer in common use that is actually sounds silly. Doesn't hurt to understand it for formal written documents, but I would personally feel weird going around using whom as if I'm the Queen!
You are so genius that one day we are going to go mad after listening your stylish English.😀👍 You are more an actor than a teacher. You are predominantly an actor, I think.
Thank you, Aly! Brilliantly explained! Please, make more videos about that dying words, because I realized that information what I remember from school doesn't current anymore.
I got you exactly aly, because sentences with who and whom are translated into my language differently, so that I can catch meaning between them, thanks
I figures the difference out years ago because my native language changes stuff according to subject, object, and other factors all the time. I tried to explain it to a native speaker once, but I failed because I saw him use it wrongly several times. I wished English speakers would still use whom more because it sounds really natural to me.
Another great explanation mate. You're the best youtube English teacher WHOM I know and you really deserve more recognition in terms of subscribers. All the best from Spain :)
Papa you did a great job here! I was so confused about when to use WHO & WHOM according to the situation and followed by a perfect grammatical structure. I'm gonna suscribe with WHOM has solved my doubt.
I study languages at uni and I always get confused with who and whom. Thanks Aly for making a video about it. It would be very useful if you make a video explaining whose 🤗🤗 Btw I loved your intro 🤘😅
Super Aly, an English teacher, a cartoonist, an actor, also a friend who tells us how to speak and use English. Thank you posting Aly, we're indebted. Q: Whom are you learning English with? Ans: Aly.
OMG! You're friggin' amazing! I'm teaching a secondary level student in Spain how to use this stupid, "whom" word and this explains it perfectly and you also make fun of it, which I absolutely love. Thank you so much for the great content!
Hi, maybe you could make a video about English names, like why do people have name William get called Bill, it’s really confusing to foreigners, and when people have very long names, what is a proper way to call them, how to shorten them?
- With whom did we learn the difference between who and whom?
+ Papaaa!
Niiiiice!!!
Super super 🤞
Who did we learn the difference between "who" and "whom" with?!
@@papateachme can u make a video difference between might & must?

It's so important to know how to explain these old fashion words ... they appear in literature all the time. Thank you!
You're a great teacher from whom I've learned a lot, by the way "who cares about -who or whom-"

U r the person whom I respect.

Nice!!!
Yes he is. well that's because He's the teacher 'who' explains english clearly and fun.
Your example might be correct, but I would not mix the term “whom” with those improper colloquialisms.

I've been always confused with 'who and whom', thank you so much!!!!!
It's quite straight forward when you know Polish. Who = Kto; Whom = Kogo/(z) Kim.

In Greek all nouns change depending on whether they are subjects or objects. So the difference between who or whom makes absolute sense.

Great lesson, it's great to know those tricks knowing WHOM isn´t common now. Thanks.
The best. Is possible a lesson of participles as adjectives? I'd be very grateful.
