The mexicans on this video are from Jalisco this means that they come from a part of Mexico where the Spaniards that landed in Mexico found a little town and they made it to be only spaniards who could live there. They did not let them mix with the indigenous people but over the years they started mixing with the indegious people from Mexico & other coutries too. So that's why in Jalisco there is more whiter blooded mexicans there than anywhere in Mexico b/c Spaniards built a town just for them so that they would not have to mix with the mexican people. The government covered up a lot of history for many years. Not everyone was mixed with spain and indegieous blood that was a lie that the government made up for years. If you notice here the people here are not only mixed with european blood they are mixed with iitalian & other races

I remember hearing something about a Spanish man talking to a Latin American and he says “your ancestors stole and colonised my land” and the Spanish guys says “no they didn’t, your ancestors did, my ancestors stayed in Spain”. Columbus' main goal was to prove he can get to India going the other way around the world, to prove it is not flat and to have a different trade route to India. His discovery of North and South America was purely accidental, hence why he called them "Indians" because he thought he was in India.

There is no such thing as a "latin ethnicity" in genetics . Latin can refer to two different things when it comes to a person's ethnic background: either they are a mix of latin speaking Europeans with Native Americans and/or Africans ( what Americans call latino) or they are mostly European from a romance language speaking country ( though you will never hear an Italian or Portugese refer to themselves as latin as the term is used mostly in linguistics). Peace.
@@kazim4734 It's possible when it comes to certain ethnic groups like North Indians because it is a specific geographic area. When you say latin you can be refering to several different things like I mentioned above. That is why you cannot be 100% latin.

Using your logic everybody born in your region would be 100% north Indian because they are a mixture of the groups you mentioned, that is a fair point in your particular scenario. The thing when it comes to latinos is tougher because it is a matter of definition. For instance, I am Brazilian and my dna results show 95.4% European, 4.2% indigenous American, 0.4% Southeastern African. On the other hand an average Mexican is around 50% European, 50% indigenous (depends on the area), so are we both 100% latinos even though our DNA and physical apperance may vary considerably? Furthermore, if a large portion of my dna comes from central and northwestern Europe ( out of typical latin-speaking areas) can I be considered 100% latino? This is what I mean when I say that claiming someone is 100% latino is incorrect. Even those born in Spain ( where the language is highly influenced by latin) vary widely, with some people having more northern European DNA and others Iberian or North African, none of which come from the latin homeland in Italy. So are they latinos? At the end of the day its all how you define latino: if you mean to designate someone from Latin America or Latin speaking Europe latino then sure you can say they are 100% latinos simply for being born there. But when it comes to genetics and ethnicity you simply cannot say someone is 100% latino because there is no standard latino.

The one named Monica with the nose ring went to my Lancaster Catholic high school in PA and we did a ton of theater together. We all took classes about black history, and really no one was racist there. I’m online friends with her and she still has this video posted on her wall. She hasnt learned anything from all of these comments. She’s proud of this video still. It isnt the educational system that caused this. It’s her consumption of radical social media channels. True! My little (half) sister has 76% European. However, she has more African features than me. Why? Simple: her paternal grandpa (my step grandma, albeit I love him as if he was a bio grandpa) is biracial. So her African ancestry is more recent.
But she was also 15% Sub-Saharan African - therefore making sense why she is a brown woman. And it also made sense why HE is a white latino.

Dominican here: There´s no "dominican gene", most Dominicans are African + European, and a small porcentage of native Taino. Ofcourse it varies from person to person, some people, spacially in the Southwest, have more Taino than European, for example. But I´m not surprised she didn´t got a "dominican" marker. Also this shows probably the DNA company hasn´t done much research in the country to have specifics about us.

1. "Mexican" is not a race. It's strictly a nationality. NOBODY who is a U.S. citizen is "Mexican" (unless they have dual-citizenship in Mexico and the U.S.)
2. "Central and South Americans are a mix of predominantly Spanish and Portugese on the male side with SOME admixture of Amerindian on the female side. Therefore they will be a mixture of heavily WHITE with some Amerindian.
3. "South Asian" can also mean WHITE. At least partially. Ever wondered why, in northern India the people are much more light skinned, while, in the south of India people tend to be much darker complected and with different features? This is because northern India was invaded and settled by the Vedic Tribes about 1500BC. These people were one of the branches of Indo-European peoples who began to migrate out of the Pontic-Caspian Steppeland something like 3500BC and eventually settled the vast majority of modern Europe, West Eurasia and parts of central and south Asia. These were Europid, or what we would today call, "white" people. They were the same people who brought Hinduism to what is now India. They are the writers of the oldest of the Hindu scriptures (the Rygveda). These people are also the reason that northern Indians speak Indo-European languages while southern Indians speak the unrelated Dravidian languages.
So, in summary, "South Asian" can still mean White.
