- Ever since I drew with Every Purple Art Supply I Owned (you can see that here: • BEST COLOR EVER?! | Dr... ) I've been bombarded with requests to try another color, well I did it! See I listen to you. hehehehe I gathered Every Blue Art Supply I Owned into a neat pile, swatched them out, and drew something for you. I would love for Rin to revisit this series now (in 2021), and then compare the old and new ones after she finishes each color. She’s got new art supplies (Ohuhu brush alcohol markers, Copic brush alcohol markers, Krink markers, etc.) and her style has evolved a bit over the years. Now she knows we like longer videos. She’s more used to Posca paint pens and paint in general. She draws a lot of fashion and animals now... Plus, I just love this series! 💖♥️❤️🧡💛💚💙🤎🤍🖤

To me this looks less sky, and more ocean. The darker blues look like the sea beneath the sky, and when it gets to the lighter blues, it looks like the horizon and then the ‘actual’ sky. Even the dark clouds you pushed to the background look kinda like little islands to me. I know this isn’t the look you were going for, but it still looks super cool!

Technically the ocean is more clear than blue, and the ocean reflects the sky’s blue color

Ok this could be stupid or a semi good idea because I don’t think I have ever seen any other artist do it but you know how some colours have a “mood” like yellow is happy and joyful and blue is a sad and gloomy so I was thinking you do the opposite from that so yellow would become a sad colour and blue you become a happy and joyful colour. It could be stupid and I am sorry if my spelling is horrible also I love your videos so keep doing what your doing. ❤️💛💗 xxx

That's actually a good idea, if your drawing a photo that tells a story.
The story will have an opposite telling.
The perceptions of color has always been intriguing to me...for me Blue has never been a depressing color, (It's my 2nd fave color.) for me depressing is a Greenish-yellow sludge. Yellow is generally a cheerful color, but...it's also annoyingly/relentlessly cheerful, to the point of manic. (I feel like that with day glow colors as well.)

I absolutely love blue. Blue is my favorite color. I love cobalt blue, royal blue and Egyptian blue are my top 3 favorite shades of blue. I absolutely love blue. I love every shade of blue. It's calming and relaxing. It reduces stress and it's a constant reminder for me of the Heavens and of the beautiful ocean seas.💙💙💙

I have an idea! Maybe you get all the colors of the rainbow and pick out your favorite art supply and use them all in one art piece (and of course you can use a pencil and eraser since ya can’t really use each color of the rainbow to sketch). Hope you do this!

Thank you for your attitude toward mistakes. It's something I'm working on in my own art, and hearing you reacting to mistakes or things you wish you could change with "oh well" is so edifying. One can always make more art with the lessons learned.

I think the reason one of the markers looks like a lego is because you can stick the cap to the marker. The cap has like a different kinda texture to it on one side and maybe it can stick to the marker.

I love that you didn't go for the easiest option with the drawing instead of drawing an ocean (which is commonly used in art) you actually went for something a bit more challenging
Is it just me but it kind of reminds me of her floating in water with the darker blue background. The gelly roll white "stars" can be bubbles. The clouds look like the reflection from the water.
