Referee Steve Smoger at the advice of the doctor, stopped the fight when Margarito was unable to see from his right eye.

Unlike Mexicans, most Puerto Ricans I know prefer to speak English instead of Spanish. I always find it strange to run into Puerto Ricans like Trinidad, Juan Manuel Lopez and Cotto that mostly speak Spanish.
Damn... so who received the beating, again? Margarito only has will and strength, but no boxing. I'm Mexican, but I'm actually glad Cotto won because his victory (and his boxing) does more good for the sport than Margarito's would have.
