Stunning koi and really enjoyed this video. That was one elegant way to show how koi aren't bothered by your netting! That reminded of the time when I picked up my shiro utsuri. His previous owner netted and bowled him in this tiny bowl. I asked whether this koi was a good eater. He said yes and threw pellets at him. He ate while in the bowl! Not at all stressed. I have that video somewhere.

It’s amazing how much you can do with them and if you get involved with them more and more they become ever so tame, that was cool to watch koiRun thanks 👍🏻

Lovely fish mate, the mesuring bin is a fantastic idea was going to buy the blue ones that you see in most fish videos but with a see true you van check all sides without bothering the fish to mutch, awesome! Poor dog, good to hear all goos better with him . Great video buddy

Thanks Vertigo, the Dog seems to be on the mend, but he is still on his meds, the bowl is ok for now, but at some point I will upgrade, but I will use that one for the inspection like you said, I am told that koi look better in the blue, and all show vats are blue so makes sense for displaying your fish, but that one is perfect to see the fish from all angles 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

@@GazsKoiPond I would just use it to measure and check if they are ok, don't realy need to show them of... as long as I'm happy with my fish all is good

@@vertigoone-one-722 yes you are right, I just glued a length of tape measure to the out side of the tub with super glue, and it can clearly be seen through it that way the water doesn’t loosen it up if it was glued inside 👍🏻 the tub was about £5 and also has a lid so you can take them out and prevent them from jumping if your doing any treatments, let me know if you would like a closer look at it in my next video and I will give you a shout out 👍🏻👍🏻

@@GazsKoiPond I wouldn't mind seeing that tub a bit closer up, would it not be easier to see is you drawed lines with a sharpie every 5 cm (2inches I think for you guys)

That time lapse might be offensive to some viewers in the America . I m not sure you ve noticed, but no one seems to want to do any physical labor anymore. I personally loved watching the video just to get some relief from this Gnus. I almost got dizzy watching you work. :)

    First 🥇👍🏻
Gaz just a thought i had.. the pond looks hidden from the house is there anychance of moving the reeds or bush next to your shower? To hide the pipe work and open up the view from the house? to Other than that mate, good job! 👍👍👍😊🙏🏻😊
    p.s
i hope your dog is better and back to full health soon.

Thanks Jolly Koi last year it was not too bad, but this year the plants have grown a lot taller and wider which now is blocking the view some, they will need a trim at some point 👍

@@GazsKoiPond no worries i just thought to my self whilst watching it and thought about you talking about predators, And thought that if the line of sight was clear that if anything was wrong at any point (god forbid), that you would notice a lot sooner. 👍🏻👌👍🏻

@@jolleykoi5970 No you are right mate but with Staffordshire bull terriers on gard nothing much comes in the garden, apart from the local heron who keeps poping round to see if i still have anything for his dinner, thats why I keep the net on the pond at all times, but your are right they do need a good trim back 👍👍
