I know 99% of the one piece community hates the kid pirates. But I love them right behind the Blackbeard pirates. I hope they can make some sort of a comeback. I have a feeling that shank is going to turn him into the government and if that's the case I would be sad but I would also be excited that he might be the one that initiates the impale down breakout part 2

Some interesting thoughts. There are 2 loki s in Norse Mythology the other is the frost giant “utgard loki”. The band around both straw hats are red and resemble in many ways the red line. If the tree is located on/ in the red line an big enough to be seen from elbaf or elbaf is near the red line maybe there is only 1 tree and it goes through or around the planet though fishman island. And it could also be that the red line is in fact a giant shackle emprisoning the tree and the devil fruits maybe a bit like antibodies to try and free it.
As a Norse enjoyer I agree with you Utgard Loki would fit much better in Elbaf, but personally I think Loki in One Piece will kind off be half way between both of them due to him being a giant.

This does seem like the perfect time to elaborate upon the origin of the Bucaneers, as not expanding upon Joyboy, especially if he turns out to be a giant (which I personally believe is unlikely), as this is clearly the best time and context to further expand on his historical significance.
I honestly wouldn't be surprised is Joyboy was somehow directly responsible for either the formation or (former) abundance of the Bucaneers.
It’s very likely applied that Joyboy was either a Giant or A buccaneer himself.
The giant straw hat in the Holy land highly suggests this.
If not he was most likely of an Oni descendent ODA in two Arcs .
Thriller bark had luffy shadow inside of Oars and had him acting like luffy coincidence I think not.
Also notice in Marine Fors Ace gaved Oars Junior a hat . A little too in the nose but oars tried to save Ace and died trying similar to how luffy was adamant about saving Ace.

Gecko Moria explained that a person with strong enough will could have a personality affect if their shadow was used to reanimate a body, but that it would only last a little while. Joyboy being a buccaneer is possible. Or Imu could just be an evil tontatta and the giant hat is just a perspective thing (extremely unlikely), but we dont know. I dont think Joyboy necessarily has to be a giant or an oni (is that what we're calling Oars and Little Oars?)

I personally believe that after some clash on Elbalf against some foe, Luffy and Shanks will team up to attack Blackbeard on Pirate Island. It would make for a cool invasion arc where our hero’s needed to rescue their captured allies from BlackBeard. This could also serve as the perfect place for the Shanks vs Black Beard.

Thought/theories I have about Elbaf:
- I don't think Luffy and the Straw Hats will be "soundly defeated." They already did that at Sabaody but I do think Egghead will end with the Straw Hats having to make some sort of retreat, to Elbaf, where they will learn of Kidd's defeat and learn that they are only like a half day behind Shanks. But I do think Elbaf will be all about Usopp until they learn that info.
- Uranus is the god of the sky and Elbaf is inspired by Vikings and Norse mythology, I can 100% see a plot point where there is an item or a person named Thor who is then revealed to be Uranus because Thor is the Norse God of the sky and comparative mythology is a thing.
- I think Franky built _Sunny_ to be retrofitted for Pluton or to fight Pluton. I'm not saying Franky did it with that intention or that Luffy would ever ask him to. But Franky had those blueprints for long enough and Franky is smart enough to have memorized them. He likely built _Sunny_ in such a way that he subconsciously made her super easy to turn into Pluton or to fight Pluton if it was absolutely necessary. If _Sunny is damaged retreating from Egghead, I can see him using Elbaf’s Treasure Tree to fix her and that’s when he turns _Sunny_ either into Pluton or the perfect Pluton counter. Because remember, _Sunny_ is already made of a Treasure Tree.
- I can see Elbaf divided into 9 counties of districts like Wano was. Each district is named after a different world and each county is connected by a bridge system or super highway called Yggdrasil.
- I think Usopp will end up leading a brigade or division of Elbaf warriors during the final war, and those soldiers will total 8,000 men.
- With the symbolism of an Adam and an Eve tree(s), I could see the final war _starting_ with the Adam tree falling after an attack by the WG on Elbaf and _ending_ with the Eve tree falling after either destruction of the Grand Line and/or the exodus of the Fishman to the surface world.
- To me, Shank's story always ended in one of four ways. 1. Shanks is the true main antagonist and characters like Blackbeard and Imu have been red herrings. 2. Shanks dies before Luffy can return the straw hat. 3. The Straw Hats and Red-Haired Pirates tie to Laugh Tale and have a Davy Back Fight for the One Piece. 4. The Straw Hats and Red-Haired Pirates tie to Laugh Tale and have a real fight (but not to the death) for the One Piece.

It makes sense they’re gonna have a Davy back fight because in the luffy backstory luffy says Luffy says that he will have a stronger pirate crew than shanks, so it makes perfect sense to do a David back fight to prove it

The moon might be the next destination, because of traps set around Elbaf of an air whirlpool that sends intruders to space. Kidd might have disabled the trap from affecting his ship with his DF awakening.

I always had this in my mind, what if the red line was a giant snake that went a round the world just as Jormungandr. Could had been the same species as the one from Noland's flashback, an ancient one. What if in the past someone use the mero mero no mi to petrified it hence creating the red line. Could explain why Black beard wanted that devil fruit, he always knows more than what he lets on. Could explain all the snake imagery that Oda uses.
i got a idea of how the red lines material was created,What if the user of the mero mero no mi got it awakened,also could have created the poneglyphs by turning it to unbreakable stones.

If Imus abilities somehow end up including the creation of demons, as heavily implied, I honestly wouldn't even be too surprised if the red line turns out to be some manner of conscious entity. It's not like this series has a history of obeying the square-cube law.

New idea what if luffy was a revolutionary
I think the former Rocks Pirate Silver Axe might be in Elbaf. Giants have infamously used Axe as weapons. Also, Oda is including Rocks pirates in story heavily now even Ochoku was revealed to be in Hachinosu during Timeskip.
I wouldn't be too surprised if the Log Pose on Elbaf pointed towards the moon (Nami's reaction to the fast moving Log Pose needle should be interesting, when it is permanently pointing towards the moon, which is rotating around the world), or if they found out on Elbaf that the last Poneglyph was on the moon and decided to "go there somehow" ("Luffy Style"? 😋). This location of the Poneglyph would at least be a good explanation as to why no one else has found this Poneglyph yet (except maybe Enel, though it may be questionable whether he realizes what he's found).
Nice side effect: Nami could advance or even almost completely fulfill her wish to draw a map of the whole world on the moon / on the way there and back

How is Shanks inspired Norse mythology?
I think that the reason of shanks in a treasure chest was because they weren't prizes, i think that those fruits and obviously shanks were the actual buy in to the actual hunt. like in order to participate you had to either place a bet or pay for participation. if you think about it there could be a sort of thrill to the whole "game"other than killing what the world noble deem as "insects". what do you think?

I think elbaf being next arc is pretty much set in stone but Luffy meeting shanks ussop meeting yassop is too soon, I think Enel will have a major role too play in Elbaf but also In the final war so idk if he’s defeated as the big bad, I think mom big might be defeated in Elbaf but not as the big bad by Luffy, maybe by Ussop ? Maybe that’s his big moment ? probably a huge stretch but I definitely see Ussop unlocking some cool abilities with his Haki
What i predict will happen in Elbaf:
Loki and Ussop will become friends and Loki will gift him Drómir

Elbaf will defo be Usopps arch but I also think it could be Frankys power up arch aswell. Spending time with Vegapunk Franky will defo learn alot of things which he will quickly implement in his body and the Sunny. I’ve got a feeling he may incorporate a Devil fruit battle more for himself and Frank General and Sunny will get a few new modes.
You're forgetting that Shanks knows about the place of the Zou poneglyf from Rogers crew. So, Shanks might have all 4 at this moment (if we go with the theory that last one is in shanks hands)

I just rewatched fish man island. After the Noah is destroyed, the sea kings are questioning if "those people" could fix it. I believe a ship of that size and durability was made during the age of joy boy when he was a giant and a group of giant carpenters tasked with creating the Noah and fixing the ship if damaged and will wait for the arrival of the next joy boy

Oda is running into the problem of "too many characters, too little time." Even if he wants all the cool characters to come back, there is only so much time he has for the final saga, and I doubt he will pour some of it into Kidd. Hope I'm wrong though!

I know we have been building up Elbaf as a Viking heavy arch but I think it will also have a heavy French slant
We thought Zoro would have more on Wano but his parents had left Wano. Shusui looks French.
Buccaneers are French and seem to be the missing link between humans and Giants. Plus there is references of French crews under Shanks.
French and Viking history overlap in the 1500's and there is so much history Oda can pull from, up to Napolian.
Anyways, still think we will be getting Viking Ragnarok but with a French twist.

I agree, this arc will be huge not only for robin, ussop and one piece lore but I think we will see Zoro get a lot stronger during this arc. Zoro will probably duel mihawk within the next 3 arcs and to do so, Zoro will have to get much stronger.

Well, we had Usopp lie about having Conquerer’s I think now might be a good time for it to happen. I mean, it kind of fits him. Since day one, Usopp is all about conquering his fear (or attempting to) in a world of monsters and superhumans. Plus I think it would be funny to see him accidentally knock someone out with conquerors then pass out himself from fear.
I believe Oda gives us the best OP vibes in this arc as always. Don't understand how other fans waiting for typical drama moments with Shank's death, then Luffy's rage to Blackbeard, revenge moments, murdering him (just beating him won't be enough, right?), then Akainu, then gorosei and others to become Pirate King? If I loved deaths and killings I wouldn't read/watch OnePiece so many years.
Also, Luffy should keep his promise returning the hat. Then, more likely his ultimate dreams should include happy life with Shanks' crew too. And he also sweared not to lose dear ones.
Foreshadowing... the 1st island we hear about (elbaf) when reaching the 1st island (little garden) on the grand line.. will be the last island we reach before completing the grand line (reaching laugh tale.)
I can only imagine how happ Luffy will be when he witnesses Usopp unleashing his conquerors haki

I like to believe Ussop will not just get Conqueror's Haki but find a hammer only those who can use Conqueror's Haki can lift, that hammer is Mjolnir and for helping the Giants Odin who imagine is king of Elbaf, makes Ussop an unofficial Giant helping him achieve his dream and giving him a proper name for a giant, Odinson Thor

Long Ring Long Island is the Jar Jar Binks of one piece. Potentially supposed to play an important role early on but ditched because it was wildly unpopular.
I don't think Usopp will get Conquerors Haki, I think his Observation haki will advance to be at Luffy's level.
I'm looking forward to Robin reunion with Saul, Luffy reunion with Shanks and the Redhair pirates, Usopp, and Franky could use Vegapunk's technology to advance both their own tech like the climate tac and Usopps sling shot, and Franky's General Franky and the Thousand Sunny.
I like the idea of a short training arc with the red haired pirates. I think the whole crew should at least know the basics of haki. Seems only fitting for the pirate kings crew. This gives them time to resolve things with yassop, Saul, and shanks. At the end cross guild and bb show up and shanks calls for a Davy back fight. Mihawk gets captured by shanks in the game revealing he used to be his first mate before Ben. The straw hats win the Davy back fight but bb cheats or steals the rubbings and takes off for laugh tale. This sets up their final fight for pirate King. Shanks and buggy forgive each other and decide to prepare for the final battle with the marines awaiting the pirate King to lead them.
"The hidden island" is where a lot of the ideas about mihawk being part of shanks crew at some point comes from. Makes a lot of sense to me.
it would be fun if enel came back with a 150k+ army and new powers and get WIPED by luffy's conqueror and nami using him as a power source for zeus
what if Robin is somehow connected to the D clan and I have three ideas what if Robin was Jaguar D Saul's Daughter because Saul risked his life for her and what do parents do? risk their life for their child. Or Robin only joined Luffy's crew because she looks and acts older than Luffy and she wants to support her BROTHER Luffy. Or Robin is Gold D Roger's older and long lost Daughter and the lady that looks like robin mom could be Roger's wife MIND BLOWING
Nothing people say can ever convince me that Luffys and Shanks reunion will be anything but amicable.
Shanks didn't just "inspire" Luffy, he straight up knew what Luffy would become. If anything he was waiting on Luffy and not competing against him to get the One Piece. It can even be, that he will need Luffy to even attempt to get it. Thats why he declared it now, that Luffy is an emporer.
Even the David Back fight idea seem whack. Unless its play for gags, why would they play for members of each other crew...

I would love for Elaf to be a sort of final training grounds for the Strawhats by facing the Red Pirates. A final lesson from Shanks & crew to the Strawhats so they are better prepared against the Blackbeard/Marines final battle(s).
