    Please people stop commenting that Bob is hammered. He's not. He had some cysts removed from his mouth. (Not cancerous) The surgery caused some nerve damage. He's working to improve his speach, but it'll take a little while. Otherwise he's okay, though. Try to show some kindness, people.
    Update: Bob and Brad recently posted a video about Bob's condition. He has another condition that is effecting his balance and his speech. It does not effect his mind. And it has nothing to do with being drunk. I think they called it ataxia. I'm sure the video is in their playlist if anyone wants to watch it.

    • @RobertaBriffa
      @RobertaBriffa Před 2 lety +31

      You took the words our of my mouth. Can't understand why people keep repeating this over and over. Bob talked about this some videos ago, but still we keep seeing the "drunk" comments!

    • @NannyOggins
      @NannyOggins Před 2 lety +53

      People can be so judgmental, I saw a woman fall down in the street and she broke her ankle. My mother and I phoned for an ambulance and kept her warm with our coats until they came. Three women around us were saying she was drunk and it served her right. It turned out she had diabetes and had been dieting to lose weight. Some folk won’t let you win either way!

    • @antoineduchamp4931
      @antoineduchamp4931 Před 2 lety +33

      I have not noticed anything wrong at all with Bob's speech, in fact he sounds perfectly normal to me. I do however wish him, sincerely, a speedy recovery from his surgery. This is a clear case where the actual carer needs caring for.....

    • @anyascelticcreations
      @anyascelticcreations Před 2 lety +17

      @@RobertaBriffa Yes, I hope that Bob will post a comment explaining after every video again. But if not, I plan to with every video that I see. Maybe people will be less judgemental if they know. I hope.

    • @anyascelticcreations
      @anyascelticcreations Před 2 lety +20

      @@NannyOggins That's such a sad story. People can be so quick to judge. Even if she had been drunk she is still worthy of compassion for her injury. How sad that this happened simply due to low blood sugar. I have also been very dizzy lately while trying to loose weight with blood sugar issues. It's not fun. Thank you for being you and helping this woman without judging. Hugs.

    Good advice, I do some back stretches early, so will re-think this now.
    Keep up the advice, its really helpful, as a runner (3.06 marathon), and old git, injuries are getting more of an issue, so I love the advice both in prevention and (regretably) re-hab from time to time. This is definitely a prevention vlog for me.

I realize that most of my back problems start in the morning, and knowing what happens at night, and the benefit of not stretching right out of bed is really helpful. I do workout in the morning, though, before breakfast or anything else, so I'll need to find a way to warm-up without stretching in a way that could cause me back problems. Any advice is much appreciated!

    Thanks guys, I really needed this information. I have had to do the 2nd type of log roll lately and knew I was not doing it correctly. It just didn’t feel right. I will practice these so that when I need them they will come naturally.
    One of the Worst things about trying to manage pain is, that it is hard to just Think when you are hurting. Thanks again and God Bless You Both!

    Thank you for making me feel normal. The first move is the only pain-free way I can get out of bed nowadays! I’ll try the stomach position sometime, too. I’m always grateful to see you guys show these helpful tips. Thank you! I would have started my morning out stretching my back first thing, but now I’ll know to wait.

    Thank you Bob and Brad. Had no idea you shouldn't do stretches right after waking up. I learn so much from you. Bob, you sound great, i can understand your speech very well, English is my second language and i can understand you just fine. Hugs from Washington State.❤❤❤

    I definitely wouldn't be able to get up from laying on my stomach, but I will definitely start getting up from my side to see if it helps my back pain!

      Getting up from the side position works. I am in my late 60's, and thanks to Bob and Brad, I can finally get up from bed without hurting anything. This is the secret.

    I've learned so much from these guys! My problem is I can barely get my shoes on in the morning, and it stretches my back to get them on. I'm trying to figure out how to take that walk in the morning. I can't walk barefoot because of congenital foot deformities. The best I can manage is to slough around the house a bit in some slip ons. I've even thought about going to bed with my walking shoes on! I'd love to get up and go outside for a walk! Has anyone else had this dilemma?

    Thank you for your time and expertise. I do roll out of bed in the morning, but I do a total body stretch before I get up without bending the back. I find this beneficial in that it wakes up the body.

    Each time I watch your videos I learn something new. Valuable. Thanks, guys! I knew that the body becomes generally edemic at night as a result of night-time repairs. I did not know about the discs "imbibing" or that the purpose is to get nutrients to the site.
