To explain the first clip of them harmonising, the first guy who started (Chanyeol) was actually thinking of something to say (hence the uhhhhh) but the others literally just spontaneously joined in harmonising, so the entire thing was unplanned and on the spot.

I feel the same way. Every time I watch one of these reactions I always make a point to mention how they should be watching your video instead. And I have even made a point to mention your video when other's have made requests to other reactors to watch "EXO's Amazing Vocals," but for some reason people just don't understand exactly what they are missing out on when they aren't watching the updated version. I get super frustrated as well. :D Why more people don't know about the updated and improved versions of this compilation, is beyond me.

exo honestly have some of the best vocals in kpop. exo is from ‘SM Entertainment’, SM Entertainment is known for producing artists with amazing vocals, exo’s label mates such as nct, shinee, red velvet etc. all have amazing vocals as well.

Chen is the king of high notes in Corea, but Baekhyun and DO stuff make then more complete vocals. But the diference really doesn't matter, all are perfect vocals
Jhois Castro Chen does the most highnotes but that is not where the quality in his vocals lie. Chen has the best technique in EXO and his lower register is the most developed as well. It’s sad that Chen is only noticed for his highnotes when that is clearly not the only thing he’s good at.

EXO's main vocals usually have 3 octave vocal ranges, Chen has 3.5 - 4 octaves; thus they can hold high notes longer than other boy groups. You can check their MR removed live stages; you'd be amazed.

First off, you should know that every single one of these examples are 100% live vocals. So this just goes to show you what amazing vocalists EXO are. 😊
The funny thing about the beginning of this video when you saw EXO harmonizing was the fact that it wasn't planned. Chanyeol was trying to figure out what he wanted to say and so he started out by saying "ummm ..." and the rest of the members just piggybacked off of that and turned it into a vocal harmony. That just goes to show you how even off the cuff they have amazing vocals.
If you want to hear them a Capella, you should check out their acoustic medleys in concert. The next clip where you saw them in the red jackets in concert was the remix of their song 'Wolf" at their concert in Japan. I highly recommend you check out this performance. It is one of EXO's most epic performances. And I can already tell by your reaction that you are going to love it. czcams.com/video/a8UeSVgiXmI/video.html (As with all of EXO's live concert performances. LOL) And this was only one song out of probably between 25 and 30 songs they performed during that concert. The live performance is way different than the MV for "Wolf" so you need to check it out.
The part where you saw Chen singing that super high song solo on the TV program "Knowing Brothers " or "Knowing Bros." was actually originally a song from a female artist. So Chen was showing that he could sing the song in the original female key range, which is extremely difficult for most male singers to even come close to reaching. That's why everyone was so impressed.
The super impressive duo performance with Chen and Baekhyun was a cover of a famous old Korean song called "Really I Didn't Know" and it was on a singing competition TV program called "Immortal Songs 2." If you haven't seen this performance, you really need to, czcams.com/video/O_OGaSy99vU/video.html. This was from more than 6 years ago so it was when they were first starting out, which just goes to show you what amazing vocalists they have always been. Immortal Songs 2 is a weekly singing competition show where Idols and famous singers go on the show and compete against each other to be voted the best performance of the show by the audience. Each week there is a theme and most of the time the theme has something to do with a famous older well known singer, group, composer or artist or a specific genre or era of music, and all the songs are remixed covers of songs from the artist that is featured as the theme of that week's show. For instance, they have even done English weeks where the theme of the week is Michael Jackson songs or Michael Bolton songs and all the singers who competed on that episode sang Michael Jackson songs or Michael Bolton songs. (Michael Bolton was even on the show to critique the performances.)
Something to note about the performances where you saw Chanyeol singing, such as his performance of "Creep" and "Billionaire," etc., is the fact that he is the main rapper of the group. (He has a mad rap flow that you should check out as well.) So this just demonstrates how impressive they all are as vocalists because even their rappers are great singers. And not only that but Chanyeol is super multi-talented. As you saw in this video he can play acoustic guitar, but what you didn't see is that he also plays electric guitar, base, drums, piano and is a DJ, etc. You should check out a video called "EXO's Most Talented Member," czcams.com/video/EqJISmSphTc/video.html, to see just how talented he really is.
(The older guy in the blue shirt you didn't recognize is JY Park, the founder of JYP Entertainment -- which is the company groups like GOT7, Twice, and Day6, etc. are under. EXO were guests on JYP's TV show called JYP's Party People.)
EXO's cover of "Open Arms," which is originally by the 1980s American pop-rock band Journey, just demonstrates how good they are at singing in English. Just listen to how clear their pronunciation is -- you would never know that they aren't fluent English speakers. This is a performance with all of EXO's main vocalists. D.O. and Baekhyun are the main vocalists in EXO-K and Luhan and Chen were the main vocalists in EXO-M. What I find even more impressive about Luhan as part of THIS English cover is the fact that he is Chinese so his first language is Mandarin, so English is only one of numerous languages that he, and all the members, speak/sing in, and yet all of their pronunciation is so flawless.
The main vocalists in EXO are Chen Baekhyun and D.O. and they are 3 of some of the most powerful singers in the industry. However, EXO are known for their vocals and for the fact that actually all 9 (12) members are amazing singers. So even the lead vocalists and rappers can give any one of the members a run for their money. LOL For example, the part where you heard that super high pitched high note, that was Xiumin's high note. Xiumin isn't even one of the 3 main vocalists (as a member of EXO-M he was a lead singer and lead rapper, but he also can hit the highest note out of all of the members), so that just goes to show you even more that EXO are all amazing vocalists. Chen, Baekhyun and Xiumin make up EXO-CBX a sub-unit of EXO.
The part where EXO were wedding singers was a clip of them performing as a gift to one of their managers whose wedding that was. You can't just hire them to sing at your wedding, but if you are lucky enough to be a family member, friend or someone that works with them, you might be able to convince them to singing at your wedding. 😁
You should really check out the updated version of this video, which features all 9 of the members. Here is a link to the updated version of the "EXO's Amazing Vocals" compilation video, czcams.com/video/OaUSYFUVIg0/video.html. The video you just watched was good, but it highlighted mostly their main vocalists and didn't show exactly how impressive all 9 of the members really are. For example, you didn't even get a chance to see or hear Kai or Sehun's vocals at all in this video. The updated version is really, really good and it shows the best vocals from all 9 of the members. So even though it's a lot longer, it's worth it. Please consider checking out the other version. Even if it's just on your own time, and not part of a reaction.

Music producers, singers and musicians: It is amazing how they have different voices but when they harmonize, they sound as one. It is also incredible how they are so effortlessly hitting those notes and blended with each other so well. It only shows their discipline, hardwork and skills. The rappers in EXO can sing, and the singers can rap. The dancers also can sing (has produced solo albums) and the singers can dance very well. Visual role? All of them. There's no weak link in EXO. The original super group (they even have super power concept). All around perfection.

EXO has 9 members: Suho, Xiumin, Lay, Baekhyun, Chen, Chanyeol, D.O., Kai, and Sehun. Those are their stage names. They formerly had 12 members, but Luhan, Kris, and Tao left. Currently Xiumin, D.O., and Suho are enlisted in the military.
EXO is available to listen to Spotify (as EXO and EXO-K/EXO-M). I'm sure they are also available on other services but I personally used Spotify. They have many MVs: MAMA, Wolf, Growl, Miracles In December, Overdose, Call Me Baby, Love Me Right, Sing For You, Monster, Lucky One, Lotto, For Life, Ko Ko Bop, Power, Universe, Electric Kiss, Tempo, Love Shot, and Obsession. They are all under SM's CZcams channel.
They have two subunits: EXO-CBX (Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin) and EXO-SC (Sehun and Chanyeol).
Lay, Chen, Baekhyun, and Suho all have official solo work.
Baekhyun's 2nd mini-album comes out on the 25th, actually! It's called Delight.
Baekhyun and Chen have CZcams channels. Chanyeol has a CZcams channel called NNG with a handful of other music producers.
Not sure how much you know about them or even kpop, but I feel like that's already a lot and I don't want to bombard you, lol!

the fact that most clips are actually very old some of them are even rookie era. Their vocal have improved even more since then... They still take vocal lessons till this day... talent and hard work together these guys are one of the best vocalists

This is a singing competition called "Immortal Songs II", where an artist who has a popular song in the past (60's, 70's, 80's) is performed by other artist like Chen And Baekhyun, but in their own way. Another competitor does the same with another artist and song. The artist, (if still alive) listens to the renditions, and the audience votes. The most votes gets a win, they then continually challenge others, with different artists with their songs until voted out. They come back every week if they can make it.

The first clip the video starts with, Chanyeol has the habit to forget what he wants to say. The rest of the group knows this, so when he did that, the guys reaction was to sing themselves.
