    Number 1 is really true, because before I was a barista in my country, when I'm still in my country 1 week before arriving in GC I was already sending cv I have 5 trials already waiting for me. Thanks for my experience I was able to work immediately after the day I arrived. Being a barista in my country was already a training ground for me in what to expect in Australia.

    I totally agree with the perspective about "Working too much", I can give my personal point of view: in my current English course, 70% of the mates don't match the minimum attendant due to working over hours, their English level will be affected and always they are not committed to the class/homework. Working enough to have money for rent, bills and groceries, otherwise, will be a long-term regret...

      Moving into a further discussion, I`m facing issues with Australian IT companies don't interested in professionals based on student VISA, even with a large experience, 8 years background in the area, English level proficiency, they prefer Australian citizen/full-time work rights (not the temporary to student visa based).
      I`m excited to get hired. Giving up is not an option 🚀🚀🚀🚀

    Hi mate, What are the IT job opportunities in Australia after completing the bachelor degree? I’ve heard that eventhough we get work visa employers aren’t willing to hire international students cuz they don’t have PR. Is this true? After the bachelors do we get hired for professional jobs? Glad if u can reply ☺️

    • @overseasstudentsaustralia
      @overseasstudentsaustralia  Před rokem

      Yes, finding job in Australia after graduation can be a challenge. But it depends a lot on individual as well. How desperate you are when looking for a job? If you are, then you will find a way. Many students also expect full time jobs with no experience but it is hard for employers not just because of visa but also the skill level as well. We will probably cover that in upcoming videos.

    well this are the problems we need to concentrate on but apart from them international student like me facing a lot more problem.
    There's alaways some disruption in public transportation and I end up booking uber
    secondly, if you have any emergency and you dial government number they will answer the calls after 2-3 hours
    Also, poor internet. I travel at night and my internet connection goes anytime!!
    Bad experience with doctors too.. will have to go back to my home country to get the treatment!! they make you wait for long hours even if you are in emergency

    Job applications are getting rejected saying we are looking for PR or Citizens. How do we defeat that and for how long must we apply for till we get a job as in the above situation it is very difficult to find a job.

    • @overseasstudentsaustralia
      @overseasstudentsaustralia  Před 2 lety

      It will depend on how quickly you start looking. The thing is your course is about management and yes you can learn skills as a manager but you won't be able to get a job as a manager right unless you have an experience in the field before hand. So you have to start finding a field you like and want to work, then make your career in their.
