I worked at Guitar Center, keyboard dept, back in 07, 08 and when this man came in the store to demo product, he had crowds around him!!! I'm honored to have watched him demo live, plus, he's EXTREMELY cool and humble with his gifts.
This is extremely well-done and has answered my questions about its capabilities. Mr. Diaz is a skilled musician and orator. Truth is the best sales technique!

Bought this for my church. At first I thought the sound bank was very limited but after seeing what it can do, it makes sense! Thanks for the great video. This keyboard has a great bang for the buck!
Really nice video. A suggestion - avoid using those little background music clips throughout. They are not needed and are somewhat distracting, imo. Otherwise, very comprehensive and informative. Thanks.

He explained within 20 mins so brilliantly. I got this keyboard and now I learned everything about it so quickly. Great job buddy :) I order my gear from Sweetwater, But Just because Diaz made such a great job with this one, I’m switching to Kraft music :)

Excellent vid! I'm sold on the organs with this board. Probably gonna order one in a few days. Is it just me or is anyone getting dead tired of every keyboard company using Ipad for everything? I have had many tablets, some of which have been awesome, but none of them Ipad. I will NEVER pay the highly overpriced cost of one when the androids are excellent at half the price. Come on guys, SOMEBODY break the mold!

Ed is cool and awesome in a brilliant presentation ! I found this video very helpful and understanding to learn every thing I need to know about this new keyboard in terms of making my decision to buy it soon ! I am so impressed with its price $899 - 999 also with the great future that it contains in it ! Excellent gear for Progressive rock, Psychedelic rock, Pop, Jazz, Blues, Classic and even for electronic genre/style !

Great Demo! Can you use an expression foot pedal (such as a Yamaha FC-7 or Roland EV-5) to control effects such as wah-wah, tremolo, and distortion so that your hands can keep playing on the keyboard? Thanks!

is there a way to record onto usb thumb drive on vr-09 using the roland integral 7 sounds . it seems when i did try it, only the normal piano sounds came out, even though i had on various others like organ, or synth,, i am using a mac mini when the usb is connected
So, the all the filters cannot be accessed other than via a connected iPad?
i know you can record yourself easy, but to use for example the Roland integra 7 sounds and record them on usb thumb drive on the vr-09 it can't be done? or can it? the midi portion of this instrument seems either confusing? or not complete? or i can't figure it out?
Does the Roland V-Combo VR-09 has great strings sounds? Like cello, doble bass, etc??

how is the synth sound called in intro, or how can i recreate it in minimoog(virtual one , i don't have money for real one :( )

Good demo Ed, well played. As a Kronos user, let me judge its sound. CZcams's audio compressions disable you to compare well, however I'm going to write from what I heard.
EPs suck. Transistor organ is good enough. B3 may be good, have to be listened directly. Generally all sound unnatural.
It has good features like iPad support, D-Beam, FX knobs, dedicated organ sliders, and drum part.
pls explain the difference between vr-09 and vr09b? e.g. just a s/w upgrade or different keyboard? Is the vr-09b a 61 key version of the vr-730?
VR09b = VR09 + firmware 1.12. VR 730 = VR09/09b with Roland Waterfall keybed.
Is it weighted?
vr09 key is the same that xps10 key?
How can i erase a loop part ?
Ed, I am seriously considering the vr 09b. My question is does it work with Cubase?. Love your tutorials! Also, do you have contact info for Gibraltar stands?

What's amazing about the VR-09 versus any other similarely priced synths out there is :
1- Obviously the organ drawbars! Finally I'm not stuck with a crappy organ preset.
2- A whole dedicated effects section! Not stuck with a crappy synth/organ/ep preset. Add wah/tremolo/reverb/leslie sim or any other effect!
3- FREAKIN USER FRIENDLY!!! FINALLY! The Juno GI is "worth" 1400$ and is complete and uther shit compared to this! gotta press 10 buttons simultaniously to save a damn sound in the favorite bank! But the VR-09 seems amazing!
might be a dumb question... can you use this keyboard as a midi controller?

but the knobs wont work as midi, there are cheaper optoins for a controller
All I have to do is to press the "buy"- button.... verry quick.
actually when i tried to record through garageband and the vr-09 the sounds were just plain piano and nothing else. throught my own usb on vr-09 not through garageband that works through their own sounds not through the keyboard sounds!
