The peacocks are fine...they are still displaying. I see peacocks flying down from roost every morning. I am very sad because a few of the peahens have lost their chicks to other mothers. The peahen with 9 chicks now has 13 because other chicks come running to join all the chicks when they see them, and there's nothing the other peahens came do to stop this. One peahen lost her 3 chicks and another peahen lost 2 and still another peahen lost all her chicks to a different mother. It makes me very sad because the peahens loved their chicks so much and they are very sad without them.

Those peacock chicks are over a week old. They already have wing feathers which they do not have when born.
There were many peacocks in my college but I didn't see any chick.
