Is that a bass boat? They’re pretty brave taking that in the ocean. Hopefully it has secondary floatation.
Pretty tough to sink them..but easy to swamp them..usually they just become floating bathtubs, the hull is foam filled
If you’ve ever towed a boat without a vessel considerably larger than the one you’re towing, you know that’s risky in fast moving water. I wouldn’t even try it if it wasn’t flat still water.

If I lived on the ocean, I'd definitely have a twin engine boat.

It would if the boat being towed actually steered with their motor just because it's not running it's still acts as a ruder
