  • For Day 2 of our 3 day "tour" of the Yorkshire Dales, we take trips to some of the waterfalls that are easier to access. This does not make them any less beautiful or grand.
We hit up Wensley Falls, Harmby Falls, May Beck Falls, Cauldron Falls (aka West Burton Falls) and finish up at the popular series of falls, Aysgarth Falls.

Thanks Barry! As much as drier waterfalls are sometimes less impressive, it makes it easier to access other areas. There is a rocky section (on the right hand side of the images) that you can actually walk along from the falls itself.
When I visited in September, I couldn't work it out either but everyone said that its possible when there is not as much water... and they were not wrong :)
