I can highly recommend Mill Gill Force near Askrigg, especially after rain. It's little known but is in fact one of Wensleydale's most spectacular waterfalls, with a drop of around 70 feet.

I hadn't heard of that one, but after looking at photos it looks incredible! Will be sure to check it out next time we are in the Yorkshire Dales

@@AlexTravels1 I'm not surprised you hadn't heard of it because (amazingly) it's not marked on many maps. My wife and I went to see it last spring, just after the last snow, so there was a lot of water and it was a fantastic sight. It's not very far from Askrigg so it makes a pleasant walk between breakfast and lunch. 😊
I put a short video of it on my Flikr page. Search for "Fiery Jack2010"

Thank you for a wonderful video again 😊 Your video inspired me to visit malham cove, Janet’s foss and Gordale scar yesterday.

Goredale Scar was definitely one of my highlights from the Yorkshire Dales, we also climbed Ingleborough which was incredible and I'd definitely recommend for a great hike with even greater views!

Malham cove looks so so cool! We recently went to the Dales but didn't get the chance to head over there 😭 didn't know it was an extinct waterfall!
Janet's Foss looks like an awesome place to swim in! We did go to Aysgarth which is such an epic place! We tried going to a few others like wensley falls and harmley falls but they aren't that great 😂

Malham cove was certainly a highlight! We wished we could have explored Aysgarth Falls more but we ran out of time so only actually saw a small section of it.
I'll have to head back to Yorkshire Dales at some point because of how much we didn't get to see!

Is there a waterfall accessible by pushchairs?

Malham Cove and Gordale Scar are definitely very accessible, parts of Aysgarth Falls too, but the waterfall walk contains lots of steep sections and stairs

Cauldron Falls at West Burton is very accessible, with a small car park close by. Aysgarth Falls just a few miles away also has good paths to the top, middle, and lower Falls. Likewise, Hardraw Force (not far from Hawes) has good access.
