Meris Enzo as an Octave Pedal (Simple Demo)

The Meris Enzo does a whole lot. But if you want to just do a simple octave effect with it, this is how.

Does it do a good synth bass if I want bass tones played on guitar? And can I just plug in an expression pedal to change pitch? Or do I need the expensive midi adapter?
