In the anime, Purge Ray didn't require the 2 monsters to be the same type, so you could summon leviathan dragon by tributing utopia, though anime purge ray also had several other differences from what we got

I'm not gonna answer the final question, Joey Wheeler is my favorite character so no point in it. I knew he lost only two duels to Kaiba, probably the guy he lost most duels to, but I didn't quite know the Sanjoume dueled Yuki that many times, like dayum bro, after two losses you should have just called it quits.

All three of these cards must REDUCE your life to a set number. If you had lower LP, you cannot activate them.

@@Medbread prime makes you pay life points until you have it. If you can't pay til you have 10, you can't activate it since that's the cost.

All the cards in the video can be activated regardless of your LP value. That's the difference between the cards you guys mentioned and the ones in the video. All of yours say "Pay until you have X". The cards in the video say "Your LP becomes X"
