If you want to hear him as main voice check out The Islander live at Tampere, also he will be more prominent in other songs already suggested to you like Romanticide and Yours is an empty hope (can't remember the best live videos for these but I'm sure the Army - not a cult - will fill you on them)

Not top of range, but top of her breath control. Tarja sings this song in a very different way which isn't as hard for breath control, but Floor sings it with belting and while it sounds more powerful and "brutal" it also requires way more breath than this song was intended for. Unlike her normal performance, at times in this song she falters a little in power since she just exhausts herself. It is easier to hear in contrast to Marko and her voice at times is almost swallowed up by the instruments, which normally never happens to her
Still a great version, but I would like to hear her version of this sung like the original album version. Especially now that she has upped her skill to a completely new level during Human::Nature

"Last Ride of the Day" which was the last song of the 15 song set performance was one of the most energetic so the band was just as strong in the last performance as when they performed the first song. About half way through the set Floor did change from her long leather pants into the short leather skirt so you can tell whether a song was performed in the 1st or second part of the performance by whether she is wearing pants or a skirt.

Ghost Love Score was 70 minutes into this concert.. And Marco (base player) has an excellent voice as you'll see. He won last years Finnish version of the masked singer.. If they need a bit rasp he give that to the song, down right harsh vocals, that too. But also gives them the clean smooth harmonies that follow right along side of Floor's lead.. He sings lead on a few Nightwish songs.. The only thing I haven't seen him do, that Floor does do, is those super low guttural growls.

In fact, his first appearance with Nightwish was in the video for The Islander (a song witten by Marco), Marco amd Troy are clearly on good terms, as you can see if you bother to watch the video of Buenos Aires 2018, when they can be seen rocking out together with Troy on the bouzouki and Marco on bass - and it is actually Emppu who is known as the Hobbit. Marco gave his reasons in his resignation letter, and you clearly care so little about him that you haven't even bothered to read it, at least for comprehension. If Troy fufils any of the roles of Marco in his absence it will be because they need filling by somebody, and as a successful composer and producer Troy does have skills which may be useful. His vocal role in Nightwish may have been increasing, but not at Marco's expense, as they have very different voices. The Nightwish Army live vicariously through newbies. We all remember our own first introduction to Nightwish. The way it felt regardless who the members are.
It only gets better from here.

Watching Staci light up is a blast!
The Wacken show is the high water mark for audio production!! (Nightwish videos won’t
be blocked. Nuclear Blast and Nightwish insist their products are available without copyright
blocking.). Pro tip #1: it’s ok to pause during the performance though not required. It’s preferred
instead of trying to talk “over” the song.
Pro tip #2: When you do pause to comment, it enhances the viewer and reactor experience
if you back the video a few seconds by using the keyboard shortcuts. Reentering at a point to
kind of recapture the flow of the song.
Marko, the bassist, is a phenom in his own right. He’s been in several bands and probably 10
years older than the rest of his band mates.
Floor was also in a couple bands prior to being invited to join NW. Revamp and After Forever to
name a couple. SHE IS ALSO A WORLD CLASS VOCAL COACH. She has her own channel and
tons of other offerings, not the least of which is her involvement in the show BESTE ZENGERS.
A showcase of several of her contemporaries.
Tuomas (pronounced too omas) is the maestro behind the keyboards and the primary influence
for their compositions. Soft spoken and reserved with NO EGO about his genius. Very humble,
loves his mates, his fans and composing. Although it’s hard to know in which order.
Empuu, the guitarist, quite the character....known for his laid back attitude and playfulness
    with his beloved band mates.
My personal favorite, Jukka (pron yu ka) on the drums...as good, maybe better than,
any other. He’s described as an animal, ferocious in his attacks. And I love his passion.
Not shown in this song, Troy on the winds, guitar and vocals. The token Brit, but been
with NW since very early in their evolution, mostly as a guest artist.
The Wacken Open Air festival is perhaps THE SHOWCASE event for Metal music.
On this day, Aug ??, 2013, NIGHTWISH was the headliner in front of 82,000 adoring fans.
This was also a “coming out” for Floor and Troy as this being the Premier of this lineup.
Floor had been offered a guest position when their lead singer, Annette fell ill during
NW’s American tour, Oct 2012...there’s a documentary about “Please learn the set list in 48 hours”
Floor was actually on hiatus from her band and recovering from touring burnout.
For the band history and detailed guidance on how to squeeze the maximum joy out of
this god given gift, the Nightwish Army defers to Gabriel.
I recommend this resource as THE SOURCE.
My personal favorite is Last of the Wilds.
While it’s an instrumental and gives Floor a break during the live shows to freshen up
and wardrobe change, I think it’s as good as anything else in their substantial catalog.
Hope this is helpful for your journey to discover, enjoy and fall in love, like the rest of us!!
    One more little note...
Floor has, is and will likely work with anyone in the industry.
This provides a plethora of jumping off points to explore other artists
She’s married to the drummer of Sabaton. She was roommates with Simone Simons
    of EPICA.
While singing for Revamp, they had 13 guest artists. Including Arjen “AYREON” Lucassen.
As you become more immersed into this “honey hole”, these names will start popping out!!

PS: Floor is a vocal coach and classically trained singer and has been singing in metal bands since she was 16, easily my favorite female vocalist.

Marko (bass) is a frontman in his own right. There are songs where he takes the lead entirely, songs where he has a verse and songs where he sings with Floor. Floor may be my favourite, but she was not the first lead of Nightwish. You guys should check out Phantom of the Opera with Tarja, their first singer. Shows off some of Marko's range, too.

TAKE YOUR TIME BEFORE getting to "The Poet and The Pendulum" (Wembley 2015) and "The Greatest Show on Earth" (Tampere 2015).

Floor was still in her leather pants so this was in the first half of the concert. "Ghost Love Score" was the 13th out of 15 songs in the setlist. She keeps going until the very last note. Her vocal training and technique allows her to sing with volume, but without strain.

Fantastic reaction, I fully enjoyed it. I think the word you were looking for the Nightwish songs building up is "song progression". Always a surprise with Nightwish, never know what's coming :-) Floor and Marko are just outstanding singers, without any doubt. Wacken is a little town in North Germany, hence this is how you pronounce it. Ghost Love Score is my favourite song, but I think all of the Wacken live songs are incredible.

    Hi Justin, hi, Stacy.
Stacy's suggestion on Floor coaching vocals...
Floor WAS a vocal coach as well as an opera teacher. Unfortunately, her career choice takes up too much of her time and does not leave enough left for her to pursue that. Floor is a very busy bee, as she is always involved in numerous projects. Besides Nightwish (her main focus), she also has a side project (band) called Northward and she also does collaborations with other bands such as Mayan and Ayeron in the studio as well as live guest performances like the video I'm about to suggest.......
    "Sancta Terra" by Epica
    (feat. Floor Jansen)
    czcams.com/video/cx22Yuj2nzg/video.html
You have just begun to experience Floor Jansen and her versatility is beyond belief. Some vocal coaches admit that after getting into Nightwish, Floor Jansen is the most commanding, powerful, and versatile singer they've heard. Her range is ridiculous and Floor prides herself a "geek" on the topic of human anatomy in regards to the vocal mechanism. She has extensive and accurate knowledge on how to use the voice by studying why it works and how. From breath control in the diaphragm, rib muscles, and lungs, to the resonating tone created by the shape of the skull, and absolutely everything in between.
That knowledge contributes to her ability to endure such high notes throughout an entire show.
Well..... knowledge is power, they say....
And in regards to Floor teaching..... her fans have persuaded her to make some "Master Vocal Classes" on her CZcams channel which I'm sure Stacy would love to watch. I think it's only 4 for now, but the information she puts out is priceless. She tells of techniques and practices that have "worked for her" during her singing career. She gives pointers, excellent advice, and a few exercises. Do check it out.
Thank you for the video, reaction and comments. Stay safe and stay blessed. 😊❤🤘🤘

Floor taught singing, staging, stage presence and music industry at the rock academy. She never taught opera since she herself only have a one year education in opera. She's not an opera singer, she's a singer who sings great opera.

This one of the earlier songs in the concert. She went hard on every song for the entire concert, and she has the vocal stamina to do it. If you want to hear the last song of the concert, and compare the energy of it to these earlier songs, check out Last Ride Of The Day. And BTW, Marco, the bass player is a great singer in his own right. For great examples of Marco's ability, check out Phantom Of The Opera from the End Of An Era DVD concert and The Islander from the Tampere concert.

At the age 18 to 20 he studied bass guitar and music at a jazz and pop conservatory.
