Could you possibly do a video about pricing - how much items have sold for vs how much you start the price of your item at, to allow for offers to likers, sales, etc? Love your videos. Thanks for the tips!
Mom Thrifter she answers this in this video. It depends on the choices you make in going through her 10 steps - she answers it in the first 2 minutes. Cheaper fast flips with low cost of goods and lower selling point vs designer inventory with higher cost of goods and higher price point. It all depends on comps she says. Have to do your own research based on what you choose to sell and the comps. Some people choose to list at the higher end of comps, some in the middle to move quicker. It’s all your choice and preference.
Thank you for this vid! I've been considering selling on Poshmark but have been hesitant for, I don't know, no reason at all 🙄. This gave me the push I needed!
I have been obsessed with the THREDUP RESCUE hauls, specifically the COACH bags and handbags versions!!!! Please do a video on a thredup rescue box haul!!!!
I enjoy the content you put out for us! Thank you for the high quality videos and tips! I didn’t notice it in your list of videos, so I apologize in advance if you’ve already done one, but I LOVE and it helps so much to see someone’s full process from the moment it comes home until you either post it live on Poshmark or send it out the door to the buyer. It helps improve my times and efficiency and gives ideas on how to improve my process since I try and squeeze everything except sourcing in to nap times for my baby. It’s my literal full hustle haha. I’d love to see a video like that!
Thank you! I love watching your haul videos from thrift stores. We mainly sell men’s clothing and hard goods on eBay. I’m not fashionable at all lol and your hauls really help me be more aware of which women’s shoes and clothing items to look out for 😊. You’re helping us expand our horizons and make more 💰!
Great video! I'm debating on transitioning to be a reseller, just been selling personal items to this point. Can you do a video on how to start and utilize Instagram for your business. Also, how to get started on CZcams for your business?
Other tips too: Also buying some Poly Mailers (I get mine on eBay) are great to have as well. Yes I def keep the free boxes from USPS instock! I get them online as well as in the store. Stick with the priority mail (Not the Flate rate...for folks looking to get some)
Thank you so much for all the care you put into sharing. I am brand new to Posh; have just started Ebay too. I definitely need to look at your brand new beginner videos!!
Thank you for this I just started selling on Poshmark and would love to turn this into full time work. I would love future videos diving into each step.
I did not know USPS will deliver box sets FOR FREE till today. Great tip. I have accomplished most of what you have discussed in my closet, but TIL that PINTREST can be a game changer....great tip also. I will make it my goal to have 100 items. Now that there is a "home" category, i can see this happening for sure! Its easy to understand your videos, straight to the point. Love it.
Have you done a video listing from beginning to end up to when it sells and how you ship one item? It would be great to see the whole process from beginning to end. Thanks!
Hi The Deal Queen! Please please please....YES...do a video on how to use the 'APP'...since I have 'dyslexia' and I can be challenged technically...and I desire to learn and make more income, instead of being behind in paying bills. Thank you in advance. God Bless, Sherry :)
I am a photographer so I have a photography studio at home with tethered flash etc . I so agree with you about having bright clear photos and unless you selling shoes get your stuff off the floor. Hang it up!
all things delightful I agree completely but please tell me what to do with plus size shirts and blouses (1X or 2X) that look ridiculous on a dress form that’s probably a size 8. Everything hangs off and looks ridiculous. Laying them on the floor is my only option unless I invest in a plus size mannequin which I’m NOT going to do at this point.
@@supermom23 do a search for "extra large" hangers. These hangers are about 20-21 inches. (Standard ones are 17) Sometimes they're sold as coat hangers. Hope this helps!
I would love to hear where sellers usually buy their new brands of clothing, accessories, shoes, etc. Are there good online sites to buy new inventory?
What do you think about making an offer to likers immediately after they like an item? Someone else on YT suggested this as a means to strike while the iron is hot.
Is there a way to follow all users following you by selecting a multiple checkmark because I am having to go inside each closet and then clicking on follow. Thank you for any tips I will greatly appreciate it.
Thank you so much for this video! I just subscribed! I have so many excellent pieces I'm looking to get rid of, and I just sort of haphazardly put them on the app without much thought, I'm going to totally change that around and hope it promotes more sales!
This is so helpful!! I started selling on Poshmark back in February and I've learned a ton about what brands to sell and what works in my closet. However, I'm still not making the sales I'd like to be making (at most I can make $100 in a month), and I'm fairly sure a big part of that is because I don't have the inventory volume that I need to to be selling on a more frequent basis. I do genuinely love doing it though, I've always loved thrifting and sourcing is my favorite part! Also, one other thing I like to do for research is look at the "sold" listings in each category at different price ranges so I can determine what can turn a higher profit. I'd definitely recommend everyone do this!
Waste of time. Think for a moment. Its a new app but yet its nearly impossible to sell anything. Making 200 a month is something you should do in a day two or three. I deleted it.
Amazing video! Thank you and I am brand new at divesting my amazing wardrobe inventory which is just stupid for me to maintain. You gave REAL GREAT information! Thank you! ON to finding the inventory organizing! Next video...will be searching your channel to see what you have to say! Thank you!!!
Hi there! New subscriber! Thank you for the information. Sharing my inventory as we speak! Is there a way to share your closet all at once instead of one item at a time?
Thank you for this informative video! This is very new and exciting, and a business that I want to succeed in. I'm looking forward to more info on Poshmark. Thanks again!
LOL...I am already a big check plus on every suggestion you made & I have been selling for a year now w/ ALL 5🌟 Ratings & over 200 sales! BUT, with unmediated ADD + scatteredness, my Inventory System is HORRENDOUS! I got inventory literally sprawled all over my house, closets full, study full, bins full...& I have no friggin idea most of the time knowing exactly where sale, out of 500+ listings, is. So THANK YOU my PFF! I am going to work on some kind of organizational system for the INSANITY needs to stop! Next vid..."How DO YOU HAVE A LIFE & SELL on POSH" 🤔 Girlfriend, I feel like it's all I ever do...w/not that much retrieve & money flow ( selling almost a year now made a tad over 5K ).
If you buy things to resell at yard sales and thrift stores, do you wash it or have it dry cleaned prior to posting it? Sorry if it's a dumb question. I'm interested in reselling. Thank you.
can my closet include several different price ranges or do I have to go with one? my closet has a variety of high end and lower. Should I not do that? I live in central NY also and the availability of high end products is few and far between. I do thrift stores and garage sales. The sales are very good as it's not a high end area that I live in ....even the citites I travel to. And there's only two thrift stores in a 30 mile radius.
Thank you! I just started reselling this month and I'm doing better than I thought. But I barely use social media, and have never even looked at Instagram. Could you show what you do through social media that helps?
I'm curious how people who have sold on both platforms feel about the app. My biggest complaint with EBay most of the time is how many features are available on the site for sellers that I can't access on my phone. Do you find it easy to manage your listings with the app?
Loved how informative you were for this. Could you please do a video on avoiding scams as a seller? It’s really stopping me from selling because I’m nervous that a buyer will damage my goods on purpose or claim my item wasn’t shipped! I’m new to this so it would be really helpful to hear tips from an experienced seller.
I have 89 listings, lol I'm so close! Sold 5 over the weekend so I was even closer (not complaining). Step 1 sounded difficult - I have no idea how to figure out what I'm willing to spend on pieces, other than a gut reaction to a price and looking up the item quickly at the store.

I love Poshmark! I've made almost $200 so far. I can't wait until I'm making $1,000 a month. I'll keep working hard!
Update?
Erin Bower there’s plenty for everybody, prosperity for all to be had.
Hi Erin, Curious how many items had you listed on Poshmark before you had made your first $200?

This is the most helpful video I have found!! Thank you!
I think a beginning video would be fantastic, especially since so many clothing resellers are leaving eBay.
PammyT82 i HATE ebay
Thanks for the great content on all platforms!! 💛
Great tips! 100% just motivated me to get my photos allll the way together! My largest pitfall!

This was the most helpful video.
Straight to the point.
Love your style girl 💗 How often do you recommend to post new listings on poshmark?
I agree with the majority. A baby step video for beginners would be great. Maybe even a glimpse of how you setup your apparel for pics.
Thank you so much for sharing! This is so helpful!
Amazing content that was delivered clear and concise!! Great for beginners or veterans in the e-commerce business.
This was such a great video, very helpful!

Would love to see a Poshmark app beginner video, and tips for sourcing product. LOve your video, thank you!
Ps. I checked out many videos like yours, I like yours best. Easy to understand and not over 1/2 hour long. So thank you so much
Have you done a video listing from beginning to end up to when it sells and how you ship one item? It would be great to see the whole process from beginning to end. Thanks!
All of your tips are spot on! Thanks for this vid.

would you advice having two closets?
Your jacket is absolutely amazing 😻💎
You need to share makeup tips...your makeup is so pretty and flawless :)
My best photo set-up is the brick wall out on the patio. It's great lighting even when cloudy out, and I use my iPad of phone.
I am new to the Poshmark community and this video definitely has great tips!! Thanks so much for the info (:

Thanks Donna
