For some people that still is true, but in practice we experience a growing demand for our DIY model. Supply and demand find each other online more and more. Also for international deals. Our sales module is pretty extensive in that respect. You are right about the emotional part during negotiations, but since we cut out the broker's commission most people find it easier to close a deal because there is much more room to negotiate a price. Users can also acquire a professional technical survey.

That is your opinion Olivier. You haven't seen the sales module, so you have no foundation for what you are saying. Not everybody will choose our website, but I believe many will. Independent research among boat owners shows 86% of them don't want to use a broker anymore. The market will decide for itself. If you think the traditional way is the best way you should stick to that. We make a different choice and we make that choice based on extensive research and a very solid online sales module.

Well no, the broker doesn't give any guaranty. He sets the price (or commission) and decided whether to inform or not the owner. A sale can be lost because of brokers attitude. Major brokerage might decide not to follow an offer because income isn't worth the job... So yes, with a competent and motivated broker it can help, but ....
