Yes, Danny, ventilation fans certainly help in the greenhouse. They help to keep the condensation down, and are nice when the temps are too cool to open everything up. The also help to keep those big fans from kicking on - even just for a bit, that saves power. We leave them on even when the big fans are on during the heat. Your greenhouse tour was great. Everything looks wonderful. Thank You guys!
God is good
Thank you Danny for that info on the use of fans in the greenhouse.
For your mulberry cuttings, maybe try clear cups inside red solo cups so you can just slide it out to check for root growth.
we had 2.5 inches of rain last evening in about an hour's time It was biblical. trees came down all around me - so thankful they missed me (this time). I'm in Northern IL. every plant I have outside was smashed down to the ground. thankfully only a few things broke, the rest I have propped up. fingers crossed. love you and Miss Wanda.
Beautiful.Great Green house update.Love hearing the rain guys.
Building a green house is a awesome decision yall have made.Eye opening.God Bless.
Thank you! Awesome video
Heavier shade for strawberries
Thank you all for sharing everything you do.
in tampa fl 78 at 7 am now its 2 pm 98
The abundance is wonderful
The mulberry cuttings- take the clear cups and just sit them inside the red cups- then you can just lift the clear cups out to see the roots- They don't like their roots to see sunlight- so you trick them like they are in the ground and the roots will grow faster.
Thanks
True. Pull up the clear cup to check roots, then place back inside red cup for blocking light to roots.
What a beautiful garden! I don’t think I’ve seen pepper plants so huge!
Check out LAST years pepper TREES! Danny grew some AWESOME peppers. #sunflowershowdown2020 You are warned! LOL
I looked up that fan 5000 cfm per minute nice.
Yeah growers solution recommend it.
I've heard clear cups makes it hard for the plant to root but yours looks good. I used ducktap on my clear lemon seed i planted and its growing strong. I got lots of flies too and use those yellow sticky things. Works well but there so many!
Your bell peppers look fantastic. I have a few withering. I do admit I should take better care of them.
I love to see an expert gardener as you are still amazed at plants and how much they grow and product. I call that loving what your doing. God is amazing in what He gives us.
I got my mom 2 plum & 2 cherry trees 7 years ago and we haven’t gotten any plums because of some sort of sickness or something. The year we bought them Caterpillar’s got them bad. They were so bad in our area chunks of caterpillars where falling off the trees along roads and made it sound like it was raining but it was all the bugs hitting the car. So it took a while to get started. I’m watching as many videos as I can to find help but nothing distinctive yet.
They may need cross pollinators.
I enjoy the greenhouse videos! They give me inspiration to experiment more... We planted the jambalaya okra too (for the first time) It produces very early, & produces a lot of okra & quick... We got our first planting of Potatoes out Saturday! Were been canning potatoes... Take Care
This tour was fantastic...thanks so much for all the detail. I need to find that non-slimy okra, I like okra flavor but I can’t deal with the slime🤣
Is that dwarf blueberry going to get much bigger? If not it might be better in one of the side beds. Try taking some cuttings from it to get more plants also.
You 2 are doing good looks like even Danny is surprised on some of the growing. I bet you guys get a year or two under your belt you will even be able to have more food. Looking great
Have you thought about using a sump to help control the temperature and moisture?
For the SOLO cup issue- you plant the cutting in the clear cup with wholes then you place it in the red cup. The red cup creates that below ground darkness for the roots. And because you have the clear cup, you can see if the cuttings are rooting.
The wind from the fans will make the stems and stalks of all of the plants and trees stronger so they won’t fall over as easily, it would be great if you could make the fans oscillate. Picture standing in a wind storm and how you have to brace yourself the plants do the same thing and they grow stronger because of it. Your greenhouse is very inspirational.
Love the Grow Family Network!!
Thanks for the tour and explanation of what you add to your plants. Glad you update us especially on things like white flies and the yellow sticky traps.
I love this guy.
Your Garden is so beautiful in the Greenhouse and looking forward to seeing the New Greenhouse and what you are growing, take care and have a healthy and prosperous weekend👍💯💓😍
Loved the tour 😊
Been growing in hoophouse for 2 years in Arkansas get3 times production compared to growing out side much larger fruit put up 2nd one this spring also have short hoophouse growing strawberries they will produce all year ozark beauty every body ask what I'm doing to get plants so big I tell them it's the plastic
Danny your about to have a dust storm roll through your location, a good quality mask is advised.
Which is the better way to grow in the greenhouse directly in the ground, raised beds or in pots? Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience. 🙂
If the greenhouse is large enough in the ground is always better.
Moth bean - "vigna aconitifolia" is a drought-resistant legume. I know it as mat bean.
Thank you. We are trying them in the greenhouse to see if they produce and we will save the seeds.
I just planted a Pakistan Mulberry a couple of weeks ago, I have a regular mulberry but Pakistan has fruit up to 4 inches long. I also planted last month 2 long yellow neck figs. I don't plan on eating either one, they are for the critters here. I still can't believe you don't have Loquats, as far north I am from you the past 3 years my huge tree was loaded. I am also very curious about your Apricot trees?
Haven't had any Apricots yet.
Do you have link to the bug zapper in the high tunnel? I want one that saves the bugs for the chickens.

Great video as always. Yeah grow family network is awesome
Looking lush in your greenhouse!!!
I love volunteer plants. ❤️🌱 We have about 30 volunteer tomato plants and they sure have blessed us and the wild rabbits.
Danny how you plant a Banana it do not have a seed
It was a root sent to me by a subscriber.
It took my. Mulberries 4 years to produce. Otherwise I’d plant more myself. I like Marion Berries better.
You can tell in your voices that you are Lovin the King Dome and your accomplishments. It is looking wonderful that you need to dance a little Jig or give us an Anniversary Waltz with the lights and the rain...Yeah baby!
I just love your greenhouse
Wonder how the heck all those insects are getting in there?!?!
We leave the door open during the day. We have Lots of insects in the deep south.
On my Myer lemon I had 3 stages on the tree but like a ficus tree any fluctuations will cause drop of new fruit. In fall you will have harvest and a month or 2 later another harvest then process will continue. Good morning from Texas.
Melissa Honey Thanks. I have one too and it seems to have stages that I don’t understand. I’m in7B so the first year I brought it indoors in winter. It blossomed but no fruit. Outside this year it blossomed again...no fruit. Now it is growing bushier and taller and is really pretty and I’m wondering if it will ever fruit. Sigh.
Happy Thursday to ya. Enjoyed watching keep up the good work. Have an amazing day & a wonderful rest of your week. 💗TPL4💗
I'm excited for the fruit trees.I cant wait to see the videos
Your green house is huge WOW!! My lemons never drop I have a Myer's and one small lemons don't know the name and I have Ponderosa lemons witch is big as a grapefruit . keep them coming !!!!
Hey Danny, enjoying your videos. I am looking to build a green house and have some questions. I noticed yours does not have roll up sides for ventilation. What is the advantage of both. Thanks
Mine does have roll up sides. They roll up 3 ft that's why we have the 3 ft screen is to keep out insects while it's up. I would not build one without it.
Where do you get those yellow stickies please?
amzn.to/2B9L1jG
No need for cross pollination on those Satsumas.
I’m a Farm Manager is California. I farm 3,000 acres of citrus. Satsumas are a delicate fruit, they are very susceptible to skin burn in high temperature. I would recommend a Tango Mandarin.
Thanks I'll check them out.
Good morning things be a hot one in Florida
Do you also buy your ground cover from Growers Solution? What thickness?
Yes, 3 or 4 mil
Danny and Wanda, do you know if I would be able to grow fruit trees in barrels up in zone 5?
Laurie I'm in zone 5 and he over 30 fruit trees including 2 banana a orange and a lime. I bring in the tropicals for the winter and let them out in summer..
Yes you can just monitor them.
Where did you get your satsumas from? I'm trying to get one, but can't find the nursery that sells them
Sorry the satsuma's came from Turner Farm in southern Alabama.
I love this! I so wish I had a high tunnel!
use a dehumidifier
good morning
Loved it!
Is it too late for Malabar?
No.
I have Mammoth sunflowers planted in my outdoor in-ground garden and they've already reached 6 foot tall. No flower yet, so I suspect it is going to get much taller before it flowers.
What sized pots do you have your fruit trees in , in your greenhouse? Everything looks wonderful!
Most are 25 gallon pots a couple of them are 15 gallon pots.
Much love btw I haven't water my plants in like a week because it's been raining
What state in the Deep South are you located....?
Mississippi.
Nice job trimming your beard,Danny weird I notice that kinda thing.
Hi, Danny! QUESTION: I WAS WONDERING IF YOU HARVEST RAIN TO USE INSIDE THE GREENHOUSE? Thank you!
Not at this time, but plans for something in the future.
As if this virus B.S. and all the civil unrest wasn't bad enough, we here in the lower Ohio River Valley has experienced some of the strangest weather in memory. Here it is almost July, while our daytime temps. are "Somewhat" normal, our night time temps. keeps dropping into the low 60's and even 50's (it was 60 last night, this is April type of weather), we even had a hard Frost May 9th. My peppers and tomatoes, which I was able to save from the frost, still doesn't like this, they are very slowly coming along.
The weather is from the grand solar minimum were going into. It supposed to get worse for many more years.
@@paulreid7370 same for me here.
Question Mr. Danny or Mrs. Wanda, do y'all know where I would be able to purchase the bush okra seeds? Thanks so much.
Check out Grow Family Network. Video in the Cards in the Top right corner of our video on their Bush Okra.
Those looked like squash or pumpkins instead of bush okra!
also I wanted to get one of your t-shirts but I need a larger size. Would you be able to help me with this?
Certain colors go up to 4x check the colors.
