- Hello Hatt Clan Fam,
Today we are talking about Guajira Son! This is a super cool latin vibe! I absolutely love grooving on this! I think you will like it too!
Cheers,
Played on a beautiful Kremona Fiesta F65CW-SB guitar. Thank you to Kremona guitars for helping me make this video possible by making me a Kremona guitar's artist.

Yes! This is the exact style I've been looking for.
Very influence style, very hip! Glad you have arrived 🤙🏻

It sounds more like a Son with Guajira background instead of Guajiron. But, this is a point of view of a dancer.
Thank you
Welcome!
I know nothing of guitar or music, but just a question? what's that scale called? the one you use to play the solos?
Harmonic minor!!
Would you try to do a solo version of Guajira Son
What are you exactly seeking? Email me with more specific questions. Justinhatt1@gmail. com
Pls I need your help can you tell what’s the name of the Cuban genre scale? Which chords I have to use to play Cuban songs? Thank you so much
Try minor scale with a sharp 7th
Harmonic minor scale, yes
it's pronounced "gua HEE da."
nice job. thank you.
Is there such a thing as Cuban Guajira on solo guitar ?
Mostly a folk tradition
Where can I find the basic Cuban Guajira notation or tabs please
Great question. Mostly this is a traditional style that is passed down orally. I’m not really sure if much notation exists for it. Typical of the folk Latin styles. Opposed to straight classical guitar where it is all written.
I did find the wtitten notation of the basic rhythm and now I would like to play the rhythm with short melodic breaks much like falsetas in flamenco. Hopefully I can end up with a Guajira solo of some sort
That 2nd chord looks like a F/Bbmaj7
It’s an E fully diminished 7th chord.
Loli, I loved your vid. Pero, the G in guajira is pronounced like an H. Like wa - HEE - tah...
Thanks for the help for pronouncing amigo!
Guajira is less west-Afro Cuban influence and has more canary, Andalusian and gitano influence
It's pronounced: guah-HEE-rah, or goowah-HEE-da
Gracias mi amigo, estoy practicando mi español
