The loss to the warriors last week was the worst thing that could have happened for the sharks.
nah haha sharks were over confident and playing at home made them feel even safer. under estimating the panthers was their let down

As a Panther fan I had no issue with that loss to the warriors they deserved it more and it was actually a really good game to watch too.
Now that was impressive from the Panthers they're a scary team
That was a cold dose of reality for the Sharks!. Panthers showed their class and Championship pedigree, they were brutally efficient. Madge just might have lost some confidence in Nicho Hynes after that game he was put under serious pressure and he crumbled. With Cody Walker and Nicho Hynes under an injury cloud Madge might go with Burton and Luai as NSW halves. That match had serious repercussions for Nicho Hynes and the Sharks Premiership credentials. Excellent bounce back from last week Panthers that's a warning shot to the rest of the comp.
They had to bounce back after last weeks humiliation
Not a real lot of options left for blues 1/2, so many injured and Hynes is carrying a calf injury, too risky to play him injured.

Every NSW Try down the left edge are always through Luai. Cleary goes quiet during Origin. Cleary an incredible talent, but Luai is definitely underrated!

What a rude awakening for the sharks. Sure they beat the storm and chooks but this is an absolute flogging. Nico in doubt for origin now and the sharks will be nervous heading into that broncos game
Any team should be nervous playing the Broncos even with players missing such as Reyno and Walsh.
In terms of top teams it's still Brisbane and Penrith.
Sharks won't have the kind of mentality to win the games when they matter. Roosters will have that falling short sort of season and I reckon the Storm will get flogged once they play a game without the ref's piggybacking them up and down the field

Are the highlights misleading on the Nycho HIA? Looks like he was on the ground and tackler led with the knee directly to the side of his head with no penalty or card. Bit shocking with the head protection rules.
The tackler didn't lead with the knee, it was accidental and the coach kept Nicho off because his calf stiffened up when it cooled off.
