he's not wrong it's way easier to edit I use 4 paddles to jump build and edit do my thumb is always on my right stick

Well yeah.. it’s a sad reality but controller has very little binds that barely make due. Paddles make it very easy to double edit

You should drag edit on the floor as it allows you to side jump, it’s better practice and allows you to be versatile in fights. Also it’s essential for a pretty effective retake ( I don’t feel like describing the entire retake ifykyk).
Keep edit on release so it says you more time to press the different buttons if you don’t play claw or have paddles
double edit binds are still better
I’ve always used edit with L3 and confirm with L3. It quick and easy to get the timing down
Edit on release is better if you are in a tournament. Like why would you do all these crazy edits when it is a stacked sweaty lobby

It is for players that don’t use paddles. I can’t even try to triple edit with edit on release because it feels like a turtle editing my wall a confirm button it 100x faster.

If your a beginner you should learn these, if you have been playing for awhile. Changing your binds isn’t optimal as you will struggle more, which is why most pros don’t have optimal binds but do adjust them abit. If your fast and clean on unoptinmal binds it’s better than learning new ones, edit on release is still a good thing to have on, aslong as you know how to use it properly. B if overall it was an alright video
I don’t do any of these but I’m Really good at editing you don’t need to change any of your settings but just turn off confirm edit on speed

I switched from edit on release ON to OFF and i am glad i made that decision. I am faster my movement and especially my crosshair placement is better. I edit with Left stick and confirm with LT (i play right hand claw on regular xbox controller)

the second one is a good tip but the first and 3rd tips are iffy. Confirm edit on release can make you faster with editing because you don’t have to worry about needing to click another button on you controller. Also having confirm edit on release would mean you need another key bind open to use and us controller players are already running out of buttons to use. As for the third tip, it could be faster but its also easy for us to on triple edits, we accidentally re-edit the floor ir cone instead if editing the wall like we want to. It is also harder for you to make a side jump if you mess up the triple edit because you would hit your head on the floor. I would at least drag edit the floor but the cone is fine to single edit.
But if you turn off confirm edit on release you have way more control what you‘re editing

Confirming the edit is mechanically faster than "confirm on release" meaning you could potentially do a double edit before your confirm on release registers
@@iamkrim6831 mechanically yes, as in physically releasing the button right? ...but you could say also that the timing is different and when you time it correctly there's probably little to no diff... Cause from the point of releasing the edit it's the same as confirming the edit...
So timing wise you probably have to release earlier than you would confirm...
Also yes, it does add button clicks which adds complexity to successive edits

I have mastered the arts of seeing into the future and predicting my enemies moves thanks to my atrocious internet but when it comes to Fortnite, winning with lag is basically impossible
Each game has different types of lag sadly Fortnite’s lag is not possible to play with. With some games I can put in the inputs even when everything is frozen with this game I can not do that
L2 is not an optimal bind because if u confirm an edit it will take u like half a second to place your stair
It doesn't with trigger stops
I have trigger stops on my scuf controller and it still doesn’t takes like half a second that’s why I binded it to right on the dpad

When I do double, it always makes me edit one of the ceilings or cones twice
I feel delay eith my left d-pad but with my left stick there's no delay, BUT I don't using it bc it reduces my movement

IMO only edit 2 tiles on floors as you can side jump, and you won’t accidentally re edit your floor
