    Yep I don’t think I have a single Roxon I’m disappointed with. The cost to quality ratio is quite impressive and the fact they keep innovating keeps me coming back. Can’t wait for my Flex.

    I have been using the fork and spoon for work. I see they have changed the design of the handle piece and they added a knife! Awesome.

    I'd like to see a can opener and a bottle opener and a cork screw on all three of these products. As far as the bottle opener, it could be easily made into one of the times on the fork. And while all engineering is about three things, and ONLY three things: Time, Space, and Money (or weight), for a grill, one is always going go appreciate longer handles for practical use. And utensils that can be placed in a dishwasher, with fewer nooks and crannies to clean and for bacteria to hide in.

    I have the older C1 and they've been great to use! The knife part seems unchanged so I think I can upgrade them with the C1S spoon and fork

    Hey HVAC, I have an idea and wanted to run it by you to see what you think and maybe even a video idea.
    So the Leatherman ratchet adapter has been out of stock for a bit now and with the extremely inflated prices I have been trying to find a replacement.
    So this is what I came up with, they make a 3/8 ratcheting adapter to attach to a 3/8 breaker bar. Will if you use a 1/4 hex to 3/8 adapter then attach the ratcheting adapter to it then attach a 3/8 square to 1/4 hex for an impact wrench would that not be almost the same? I found these ratcheting adapters on Amazon by Titan. They are very compact and used a wera 3/8 to hex bit adapter at the end and it is only about 2" long. Not including the 1/4 to 3/8 adapter but if you can find a short one and add an extension at the end it would be just a little longer and not much wider than the Leatherman.
    I understand this is not as elegant obviously but it's much cheaper than pulling out a second mortgage for the Leatherman ratchet driver. Idk what do you think about that?

    • @hvacbudget8600
      @hvacbudget8600  Před 4 měsíci +1

      I really like it!! I've started looking into the idea. I think it might be a lot tougher than the 711L ratchet most people use.

      @@hvacbudget8600 so this is the components I used.
      Wera 870/2 (hex to 3/8 square )
      Titan 12108 ( 3/8 ratcheting adapter)
      Wera 784 B/1 ( 3/8 square to 1/4 hex bit)
      wera 893/4/1 k ( 1/4 bit extension)
      Or if you want more utility Klein Tools 32931 ( short 3-in-1 Impact Socket Set, Flip Socket)
      So all these adapters have some play in varying degrees.
      So I am thinking about putting some loctite, super glue, or to keep these all online and solid.
      Like I said, this isn't that much longer than the original Leatherman ratchet but it is thicker.

    • @jamescox5638
      @jamescox5638 Před 3 měsíci +1

      @@hvacbudget8600 here is the components I have used to build this, maybe you can think of something else or changes to make it better.
      Wera 870/2 (1/4" to 3/8 square adapter)
      Titan 12108 (3/8-Inch Drive Ratcheting Breaker Bar Adapter)
      Wera 784 b/1 (3/8 square to 1/4 hex adapter)
      Wera 893/4/1 ( bit extension)
      If you want more utility you could also use the Klein tools 32931 ( 3-in-1 flip socket, it's for the Klein stubby)
      Now with So many different adapters there is varying degrees of wobbliness which can cause annoyance from end to tip.
      So I was thinking maybe using some super glue, loctite, or even solder or something to keep all these adapters online and firm. Tbh it's really not that bad but it will be an issue to some. If you can think of how to make this better like if you could find a 1/4 ratcheting adapter that would make this thinner.

      @@hvacbudget8600 hey, I don't mean to for this to be weird but I just wanted to let you know about the LABEAR 3 Adjustable Handle.
      It's a ratcheting bit driver with a 1/4 male square drive l. Its basically the Leatherman ratchet driver but with a 1/4 male socket adapter. Grab one of those to 1/4 Inch Drive x 1/4 Inch Hex Bit and you got yourself a ratcheting bit driver for any screwdriver.
      Just another way to do this little project 😂.

    Multitools for camping or related to food needs corkscrews and bottle openers.
    It makes less sense when a tool is more related to work or hobby work.
