    Good call on the soft case vs flight case. I noticed the difference in quality between whats offered between the 3 series and the 4 and 5 series so I reckon I'll go for the soft case as I'm only playing locally!

    the 2.1 looks perfect for me, I play bass in jazz, all i need is my eq (2 slots), octave pedal (1 slot), chorus (1 slot), and delay which doubles as a loop
    probs gonna buy it soon

      Which power supply below the 2.1 please ??

  • @rovenordiales

    ABS Cases for these seems good as well vs flight cases. They're not that heavy duty as flight cases but the removable lid is a good feature. They said you shouldn't suppose to play with the bottom part on but am doing it no problem.

    I don't understand why the Tres isn't designed for three rows.

    im interested in the 3.0 but i have a vox v847 wah pedal. according to the dimensions of the board, the wah pedal would over hang by 1-2cm. do you think the 3.0 would still fit in the soft case with a pedal overhanging by a couple cm?

    • @guitariq
      @guitariq  Před 7 měsíci

      Regards the soft case, I'd say that some slight overhang would probably be fine... (Hopefully.) Otherwise, if you think you might add more pedals in the future, you could just go for the Quad 4.1. Yes, it's slightly bigger. But I'd still consider it a relatively compact option. Hope that helps ; )

      @@guitariq thanks a lot for the reply I decided to go for the 3.0.

    What power blocks fit in that cavity. The rockboard one isn't available.

    • @guitariq
      @guitariq  Před rokem

      I've was able to fit this one under the Duo 2.1: gatorco.com/product/pedal-board-power-supply-5-outputs-gtr-pwr-5/ But it's extremely tight! So you're probably safer with something a little more slimline. I think Mono and EBS both just announced some cool compact power supplies. But I haven't tried them. Anyway, hope that helps!

    Is the soft case waterproof?

    • @guitariq
      @guitariq  Před rokem +3

      It wouldn't be 'waterproof' in the traditional sense-I wouldn't go swimming with it ; ) That said, it's quite thick. So I wouldn't be worried about my stuff getting rained on between my car and the venue. If that's what you mean?

      The latter is what I'm worried about.

    I wish the Duo series could use the Mods :(

    • @guitariq
      @guitariq  Před 3 měsíci

      Yeah, I guess they figure smaller, simpler rigs don't need them. But that would be a cool option for sure ; )
