      Many countries want in as they see benefits in it. India is in dilemma. It is a loss for India to leave. Most new members would be just as influential as India once they join. If India leaves, it becomes like RCEP. It is not a loss to BRICS rather than for India. The wiser decision would be to stay. India should not dream that USA is really a friend, there is no friendship. It is just geopolitical need which can be discarded once the agenda is achieved. Within BRICS, slowly but surely it would benefit India in long term, and members would surely pay sincere respect to India as a big country.

    It's time for the BRICS - New World Order to establish a default reserve currency or consider returning to the gold standard. Dealing with daily fluctuations in exchange rates for each country's currency would lead to excessive chaos.

    I used to think every investor went broke during recessions, meanwhile some make millions. I also thought everybody went out of business during the Great Depression, but some went more into business. Bottom line, there's always depression for some, and profit for others, it all starts from having the right mindset. That said, I've set asides $250k to invest for future, unfortunately l'm a complete noob.

    Irrespective of what you think of BRICS and you view that the West can never be toppled. She summed it up very beautifully at the end: " It is always better to be on the room, than to be out."

All of these new India’s directions after Moldi visit to DC and Paris. It seems to me India is our new problem. We must address these issues with India if she’s genuinely against BRICS expansion and new currency or she wants to continue serving DC and PARIS which we understand wrt to QUAD aka anti china union. And I don’t trust Sharma’s 😊 coverage wrt BRICS leaders meeting in South Africa, she may hit more on the divide more than anything. And this too I understand.

Since it is also true that most of the money of Indian elites, is in dollars, plus India does not have any serious homegrown defence manufacturing capacity, unlike Russia and China, since, why work on growing a backbone, when we can easily get kickbacks and defence equipment from our holy Western masters.

      @MINOTIK9 Před 3 měsíci

      India has never betrayed any country but been betrayed itself repeatedly. If India leaves it's Brics loss. China has the same agenda Britain and Europe had to colonise. India and Brazil are an important balancer. Personally I think India is better off without Brics. It has more to lose than gain. 51 other countries are there surviving so are most countries out of Brics. It's just a club really not a force to challenge right now by a long short. It has not dumbed the dollar and never will as china is risk averse. The only benefit is they agree to deal in their own currencies. There is more fluff around Brics but not much substance. It's not as if these countries don't deal independently anyway and after over decades nothing really to see except giving money to a bank mostly from more powerful countries and to weaker countries that are corrupt like SA. So no loss to India only mostly benefit in leaving. India has it's own relationships anyway. It adds value to every group. India has the largest population and a markets as big as the entire population of Africa. Certainly larger than every other Brics member. So actually Brics will have to have many more African countries and other countries for decrease in gdo size population size etc if India leaves. China dominating or Russia is not progress it's surrendering sovereignty and where corruption and bribery and the same as what west did to Africa. No sovereignty. India in the other hand is independent and not interested in colonising. Nor is Brazil. Yet SA adds no value really to this group or rather better choices of African countries to partner with independently.

India can remain of course under + but the organisation must go ahead with integration with possibilities for individual countries to opt out on specific integration areas so not to block development of the organisation as a whole. For the foreseeable future, China will remain the world's most dominating leader in economy (real GDP #1 since 2017, based on purchasing power parity), technology, development, finance, trade, infrastructures and defence, not only among the BRICS members, but also in the world, particularly over the US, EU and Japan.
    BRICS members will have a better chance to stand up against the US, EU and UK, under China's influence on defence, finance, trade and development. However, as BRICS progress, the influence of India will most definitely grow significantly. And this progress will depend very much on the progress of per capita income. China will double per capita to $30000 in ten years and India will triple to $10000 in ten years. And the gap between the two will narrow in a generation. China will not be able further double to $60000 without an India on $30000.
    As founding member, India will have to demonstrate to the rest as how to sort out the differences among members. China deployed four brigades along the border with India in 2020. India deployed 200,000-300000 troops under US pressure. But the US would not join India to fight against China. The US simply
    dared not go to war against China, particularly on land. Hence the US turned to Ukraine.
    China has no intention to fight any proxy war against the US. China only targets to fight the US direct. And this way, China can and will force the US into submission for peace, without firing a shot. The US simply dares not take on China. This is why the US wants Japan, Australia and India to fight proxy wars against China.

Certainly this is very difficult to achieve with all the members every time. Differences will always exist and each member should navigate as far as possible. Certainly the status quo of the existing economic, financial, political, as well as international system is proving to be obsolete today and hence the creation of BRICS.

Even in small countries like Malaysian and Brunei. BRICS will benefit India beyond your explanation. You should note that BRICS can exist without India because whatever India offers can be substituted by other candidates.

    The question should be, is India still relevant to the BRICS, and the answer is no, India is always a tool for the western powers to use as a spoiler, India plays that role during colonization, when Indians where imported to the Caribbean to be used as a buffer between the British and the newly emancipated Africans slaves, the British would place these Indians in high places,in their colonial administration, for example ,you would see them as head of police and army units, and that legacy is still present in the Caribbean today.

      @divyasatheesh2529 Před 9 měsíci +5

      The British always uses the rule “Divide and Rule” and India and other former colonies were victim of it.
      But Indians inherently are not like that.we believe in “Vasudeva Kutumbaka” that means world is one. We value humanity more. We believe in equal partnership.we never exploit other country’s resources.We never believe in forcing our religion on others.
      India under Modiji is completely dismantled from colonialism.we are searching and learning our true hindu values from our ancient scriptures and true history.
      But there are few colonial mindset fellows who think highly of western culture. There always two sides in a coin.
      On that note, I assure you that Modiji will become our PM once again in 2024 because we see developments everywhere in India. He is uniting the whole India on basis of our culture .
      Donating covid vaccines amidst pandemic, helping countries on humanitarian basis, equal partnership in Africa are few examples of the good work of India.

The division in BRICS is mainly caused by India and it is likely that the rest of the countries see the historic opportunity and no longer want to wait for India's attempts to play both sides. In the end, India runs a high risk to be sitting in between all chairs and is seen as a flaky and unreliable entity that one is better off staying away from. I believe that is what your video really says. INda wants to benefit from USA, BRICS, its own relationships and by attempting to do so is angering everybody when the time comes to choose a side.

    It is good for India to mantain relations with the US as much as possible but don't believe that this will forever. As soon as India's economy is growing and getting closer to US economy they will start creating sanctions and applying protectionism meassures as they do with China. India should not deoend on US and have multiple comercial relations and alternstive payments methods.

The PM easily defeated a No Confidence vote recently in the Indian Parliament on Manipur mayhem and in his two and half hour speech in the Lower House, boasted to be still in his GODI come 2028 when he expected the next Challenge 😁 from the fragmented Opposition. So a party so deeply entrenched in power, can preach ANY growth story to its citizens through GODI Media aka Palkiji 😂
