- Like many of us, David struggled with discouragement, despair, and depression. But in the darkness of a wilderness cave, he found a sanctuary where he could sort out the shattered fragments of his life. He recorded his honest emotions in a journal, and they provide a prescription that has never lost its power or richness.

I have listened to you Dr Jeremiah since the early 90s, always, you are a Blessing. I for one do not get depressed as others over what’s going on, for the simple fact, I march to a different drummer. I am in this world but not of this world. I don’t listen to news, media, politics, and all the lies that are being told. My daughter gets angry with me because I’ve told her my goal in life is to go home. I want to continue my journey after I leave this earth. I need to hear “ Well done my good and faithful servant. The holy spirit works wonders once you reach and allow. I felt like David in his cave just yesterday, while praying I decided to write down my thoughts, I have Never done this in all my life but it really helped me, so I figured I will do it more and keep a spiritual journal. I saw this video pop up on phone today and am overwhelmed with how powerful his word becomes in your thoughts and how he seeks us and loves us and confirms this to us as soon as we acknowledge and accept as his humble servant.
Take heart. We always belong to Jesus. I am hanging on by a string but the string is Jesus.
Oh God is so good and leads His People. He surely answers prayers.

@@footprintstogreen3124 I can still enjoy Dr. Jeremiah's messages without accumulating his books. Through his six part series on the Book of Revelation, I was finally able to understand what it all meant and how it will all turn out. Because of that, I'm forever at peace, even with all the hate, anger and violence in the world. Don't be too hard on people who want to hear the Word of God. Maybe for some, reading their Bible isn't enough and listening to Dr. Jeremiah gives them a sense of peace. :)

Thank you so much for your heart of compassion with which you approach a most debilitating situation but I've found to roll my burdens into the Lord for He cares for us. Forgive those who caused the distress with all in His hands u receive healing, relief and peace. Praise His holy name!
When my health deteriorated during 2019 and I eventually wound up in the hospital in Jan. 2020, I felt at peace about what was going on. Then, had to stay at home, alone in my 'cave', to heal from 2 heart surgeries while the world outside was dealing with the covid pandemic. I felt God protecting me by keeping me in a protective 'cave' while I was recuperating. Then diagnosed with cancer in 2021 and another surgery and hospital stay. Again, I felt very protected by God and didn't worry a bit. Stayed in touch with friends via email, cell phone texting, and phone calls. Had my dogs and hummingbirds to keep me company and my spirits up. Did a lot of charity sewing during that time. Now in 2023, I'm healthier than I've been in years and no longer "at risk" health-wise. I have NO doubt that God was keeping me alive for a purpose. He's now moving me to FL. Will see what He's got in store for me there. 🥰

His desire is to forgive all. However, he forgives only those who ASK to be forgiven , after they have been Saved. They must see their son from God’s perspective, hate it, and turn from it. They must believe the Gospel; according to scripture. , 1Corinthians 15:1-4 .

David's psalms are the only comfort in dark times. Its being able to identify with someone else, especially one whom God loved.
I have to disagree Tricia, Psalms is great don't get me wrong, but there are thousands of verses throughout the whole Bible that help you and your in darkness....... Just saying, don't want people to believe it's only the book of Psalms..... Job, Hebrews etc, but Psalms is the main book of cries out to the Lord and being in despair....
