I'm 76. Came to Christ at 22. I have never regretted that decision. Dealing with a difficult marriage. Losing my daughter and suffering depression fir years. He is the glue that has held me together through it all. I can't imagine what it would be like going through life without Jesus by my side

Tina, my heart goes out to you! We lost our 18 year old son 3 years ago and I understand your anger at God. We prayed for emotional healing for 4 years before his death, but it never came. I spent the first year after his death angry at God. When I turned my back on God, I became more miserable! I came to a point after that first year when I knew that I could not get through this sorrow without God. My faith is stronger than ever now and I have learned to trust God that he knows what is best. Don’t give up on God! He has not given up on you!

I have fallen away before in my life due to being fooled by Satan. He led me to believe that the only way to bury my feelings was with drug and alcohol use. I was very blessed by our Lord Jesus Christ through him opening my eyes to the truth! I don't let one minute go by now without telling him how thankful and grateful I am for this honor of him choosing me to be in his Kingdom.

I do believe the great falling away is already happening. The church I go to is all people 38 years old and younger and they have the lights out during the song service; they have electric guitar and drums like a rock concert; the Sunday morning message is modern and they use slang language; the church is in need of repairs but no one ever fixes it up even though it's full of young healthy men. They don't care and they don't fix anything, it looks a shambles; the music is so loud that I have to wear ear plugs to protect myself. Everyone wears blue jeans and looks disheveled. I think the younger generations are in trouble. I have tried to gentle point out problems and solutions, and the pastor and everyone who goes there has ignored me and my suggestions. The church I went to before this was mostly older people in their 70's and 80's and the church was beautiful and immaculately clean. People dressed up; the lights were on; the pianist music was very beautiful; the sermons were very good with no slang language; I did not have to wear ear plugs because the music was not threatening to my hearing; there was a Christmas cookie night every year with delicious homemade cookies made by the women there; there was an annual tea party for the women where we all dressed up and used amazing tea sets and learned more of the Bible during that. It is a night and day difference between older generations and younger generations. I liked the other church with the older congregation a lot better.

I had to leave because they pushed out the pastor of the church and my Mother wanted to go with him to his new church because she was his piano player for years. We only have one car and the old church lost the man who was driving the church van so there was no one to pick me up. So I found a church in walking distance and I was walking there on Sunday morning but that church closed. I have not been able to visit other churches to find one I like with my Mother needing the car every Sunday morning because she is the piano player at the new church I talked about on here.
@Cookie Food I don't know how old those people were, but when people are in their 70's, 80's and 90's, they don't really want to babysit children anymore. Some older people are not in good health, which is what you need to chase after the children.
The people kicked my pastor out also,threatened to beat him up if he didnt leave (about three quarters of them. Were doing the threatening) he was realy shocked how many were aginst him. He left & so did we.
I left my life long since childhood church 9 months ago because they believe we should be sympathetic and tolerate the people committing evil today in the hope of saving them. But by doing this they offend others in the church like policeman and life long committed members. I haven't left my beliefs or lost my salvation and still find ways to worship him and am looking for a solid Bible believing church that will not tolerate the evil going on in our world today. A church that will speak out for our country's foundational belief and stand up and educate its members to respect and hold true to our freedoms In our country God has blessed us with. I believe there is a difference between walking away from a church that has fallen away from teaching truth and a person who has walked away from that church and still holds strong to the truth of the gospel and are saved and living for Christ in their life.
I believe we are witnessing the great defection now. So many churches searching for pastors and not finding one. So many churches not having enough people in their pews to even pay the bills. So many churches preaching things that are not of our bible. Yes, the falling away has already begun. I am afraid.

The church has not been teaching discipleship which brings obedience to Christ. They are taught that they are saved without obedience and by grace alone. But scriptures tell us we were created in Christ to do good works which were prepared before hand for us to do. The purpose of the Holy Spirit is to give us a new heart, write God’s law upon it, and give us new desires to love and obey Him.

Before I was this way I used to write to ministries,the reason is I live in the north and there are hardly no Bible preaching churches. Why are there so many Churches in Texas, California, in the South, while the north is dying. We never have speakers. I feel like we are being left out!!! MAYBE SOMEDAY WE WILL HAVE A REVIVAL. You know what I dont really understand. Why some pastors teach verse by verse and people follow the teachings from their bibles during the service. But some pastors tell a story , I see some even talk about their own family and they waist about 20 mins before they start preaching. Did you notice it as well?
R.C Sproll is a story teller . Anytime I listen to his preaching, I never hear him say a verse then tells what that verse means. A chapter by chapter and verse by verse teaching church service. I dont know if they teach different ways or what.

I am blessed that I have a church that exemplifies God's love for all people. My pastor is stepping down, but not leaving the church they be has pastored for 40 years. He's beginning a new chapter where him and his wife will counsel pastoral couples, knowing that many have succumbed to suicide. The assistant pastor will be sheparding us. What troubles me is, when observing the country as a whole, I see very little love from those professing to be Christians. It seems God is separating the sheep from the goats. I'm not sure anyone sees this but me. Jesus says we are to love above all. Are we???

In Roman 11 verses 11 and 12, the Bible talk about how the Israelis because of unbelief gave opportunity to us who were gentiles (2 types of people in the world - the Gentiles and the Jews, believers and unbelievers). In verse 17, it says we who were Gentiles have been GRAFTED into the nation of Israeli spiritually and we have become spiritual Israelites and are partaker of the promise of God. So we are part of what God promise to the Israelites and are no more strangers and foreigners but fellow itizens with the saints and the household of God. (Ephesians 2.19). God bless you.

Many local churches do not preach the word but preach the world. Thus I am unchurched but am a Christian and seek preachers such as John Macarthur or yourself. These pastors feed my soul by biblical truths and not by worldly expectations.

The true Church will never fall away. What we are experiencing is a sifting. Those who are leaving the church and/or renouncing Christ were never Christ’s to begin with.

I was a foreign student in Seattle in 70's and then every Sunday went to church. As time passed by and now people are fallen away. Technology definitely changed people's life styles and value system.

We are too involved with our own "secured" lives and we get angry when things don't go our way... we forgot that when accepting Christ, our main charge and main purpose in this VERY SHORT LIFE is to profess the Gospel to all nations. We have the temerity to get angry with God? And we expect that we will be rewarded of ETERNITY in bliss? Common. We are living in a world where selfishness is a virtue. Tina, my heart goes out to you! We lost our 18 year old son 3 years ago and I understand your anger at God. We prayed for emotional healing for 4 years before his death, but it never came. I spent the first year after his death angry at God. When I turned my back on God, I became more miserable! I came to a point after that first year when I knew that I could not get through this sorrow without God. My faith is stronger than ever now and I have learned to trust God that he knows what is best. Don’t give up on God! He has not given up on you!

I have fallen away before in my life due to being fooled by Satan. He led me to believe that the only way to bury my feelings was with drug and alcohol use. I was very blessed by our Lord Jesus Christ through him opening my eyes to the truth! I don't let one minute go by now without telling him how thankful and grateful I am for this honor of him choosing me to be in his Kingdom.
It's not hard to see the falling away and why it is happening if you have your eyes open, on Christ, and in the word. With false Churchs like Bethel, Hillsong, and Elevation running around deceiving millions, we really have to stay focused on Christ and His word.
i hate to seem like an old homophobe, but we really need to understand that we can not support the lgbt without also betraying god. We must still love them, but we cannot create a god we like more and worship it instead.
There is absolutely no way a true Christian would support the LGBTQ or be afraid to stand against it. There's a difference between walking away from God and walking away from a church that doesn't preach the bible but cares more about attendance and fun and feeling good.
Very true, we live in an age of great deception and the gospel is not always preached in many churches. However we have the Holy Spirit, He is our number one guide and helper and will always guide us in paths of righteousness and truth.

I do believe the great falling away is already happening. The church I go to is all people 38 years old and younger and they have the lights out during the song service; they have electric guitar and drums like a rock concert; the Sunday morning message is modern and they use slang language; the church is in need of repairs but no one ever fixes it up even though it's full of young healthy men. They don't care and they don't fix anything, it looks a shambles; the music is so loud that I have to wear ear plugs to protect myself. Everyone wears blue jeans and looks disheveled. I think the younger generations are in trouble. I have tried to gentle point out problems and solutions, and the pastor and everyone who goes there has ignored me and my suggestions.
The church I went to before this was mostly older people in their 70's and 80's and the church was beautiful and immaculately clean. People dressed up; the lights were on; the pianist music was very beautiful; the sermons were very good with no slang language; I did not have to wear ear plugs because the music was not threatening to my hearing; there was a Christmas cookie night every year with delicious homemade cookies made by the women there; there was an annual tea party for the women where we all dressed up and used amazing tea sets and learned more of the Bible during that.
It is a night and day difference between older generations and younger generations.
I liked the other church with the older congregation a lot better.
The spirit of the Age is exaggerated self love, which invites apostasy.

I had to leave because they pushed out the pastor of the church and my Mother wanted to go with him to his new church because she was his piano player for years. We only have one car and the old church lost the man who was driving the church van so there was no one to pick me up.
So I found a church in walking distance and I was walking there on Sunday morning but that church closed. I have not been able to visit other churches to find one I like with my Mother needing the car every Sunday morning because she is the piano player at the new church I talked about on here.
@Cookie Food I don't know how old those people were, but when people are in their 70's, 80's and 90's, they don't really want to babysit children anymore. Some older people are not in good health, which is what you need to chase after the children.
The people kicked my pastor out also,threatened to beat him up if he didnt leave (about three quarters of them. Were doing the threatening) he was realy shocked how many were aginst him. He left & so did we.

I left my life long since childhood church 9 months ago because they believe we should be sympathetic and tolerate the people committing evil today in the hope of saving them. But by doing this they offend others in the church like policeman and life long committed members. I haven't left my beliefs or lost my salvation and still find ways to worship him and am looking for a solid Bible believing church that will not tolerate the evil going on in our world today. A church that will speak out for our country's foundational belief and stand up and educate its members to respect and hold true to our freedoms In our country God has blessed us with. I believe there is a difference between walking away from a church that has fallen away from teaching truth and a person who has walked away from that church and still holds strong to the truth of the gospel and are saved and living for Christ in their life.

The church has not been teaching discipleship which brings obedience to Christ. They are taught that they are saved without obedience and by grace alone. But scriptures tell us we were created in Christ to do good works which were prepared before hand for us to do. The purpose of the Holy Spirit is to give us a new heart, write God’s law upon it, and give us new desires to love and obey Him.

What He says about the falling away of the church. I am handicapped now, I've been trying to find a church for over six years. Before I was this way I used to write to ministries,the reason is I live in the north and there are hardly no Bible preaching churches. Why are there so many Churches in Texas, California, in the South, while the north is dying. We never have speakers. I feel like we are being left out!!! MAYBE SOMEDAY WE WILL HAVE A REVIVAL. You know what I dont really understand. Why some pastors teach verse by verse and people follow the teachings from their bibles during the service. But some pastors tell a story , I see some even talk about their own family and they waist about 20 mins before they start preaching. Did you notice it as well?
R.C Sproll is a story teller . Anytime I listen to his preaching, I never hear him say a verse then tells what that verse means. A chapter by chapter and verse by verse teaching church service. I dont know if they teach different ways or what.

Around the time that I got baptized in high school in the early 1970's, I had a dream that was very realistic to me. There were 2 angels in white on each side of a very orange red sun setting. They each had a trumpet. I then began to feel my earthly body changing into my heavenly body! I have always felt since that time that I was going to be here, when Jesus returns for us!

He's not preaching God's word. He has no clue what causes the falling away. It is caused when Satan stands in the temple as God, and people will stop going to church and believing in Jesus, because they will believe that Satan is God. It has nothing to do with going to anything happening these days.
I was saved 09.04.2020 from non Christian backround, and i was given an revelation, The message goes following:
" Never in the human family history, has people lost their faith like they have done it today. Many ways we have want people come to the church"
For me it reslly opened my eyes to see we are all brothers and sisters. The message was confirmed also from statistics, only 15% of people from age 15-29 believe to Bible, Jesus, God.The negative devlop had started 2010 tells the study (situation in finland 2020).
God is calling people out, by letting them know what hour of the night is. If you are reading this message, setle things in your life, forgive and apologise from people who you hurt or hurt you, dont sin, give up bad habits, give yourself to Lord Jesus everyday.

I am blessed that I have a church that exemplifies God's love for all people. My pastor is stepping down, but not leaving the church they be has pastored for 40 years. He's beginning a new chapter where him and his wife will counsel pastoral couples, knowing that many have succumbed to suicide. The assistant pastor will be sheparding us. What troubles me is, when observing the country as a whole, I see very little love from those professing to be Christians. It seems God is separating the sheep from the goats. I'm not sure anyone sees this but me. Jesus says we are to love above all. Are we???

@Terrill Elliott HI Terrill, lease don't mislead people, read your Bible very well and understand that the Bible is NOT written for the Israelites alone. In Roman 11 verses 11 and 12, the Bible talk about how the Israelis because of unbelief gave opportunity to us who were gentiles (2 types of people in the world - the Gentiles and the Jews, believers and unbelievers). In verse 17, it says we who were Gentiles have been GRAFTED into the nation of Israeli spiritually and we have become spiritual Israelites and are partaker of the promise of God.
So we are part of what God promise to the Israelites and are no more strangers and foreigners but fellow itizens with the saints and the household of God. (Ephesians 2.19). God bless you.

I'm cristain because he kept me alive long enough to get out of all the sin of the world and pull with all my heart mind and soul to stay out.
Many local churches do not preach the word but preach the world. Thus I am unchurched but am a Christian and seek preachers such as John Macarthur or yourself. These pastors feed my soul by biblical truths and not by worldly expectations.

The true Church will never fall away. What we are experiencing is a sifting. Those who are leaving the church and/or renouncing Christ were never Christ’s to begin with.

What does great revival means?
I was a foreign student in Seattle in 70's and then every Sunday went to church. As time passed by and now people are fallen away. Technology definitely changed people's life styles and value system.
