Thats the issues I come across alot with videos on Chinese martial arts. They seem to have no fighting experience and focus on making it look more pretty than effective.

This is a big problem with people who practice traditional arts. They often insist on doing things that look cool or different even if it makes no sense. I often see Wing Chun practitioners using their Bong sao as a block or an entry method. Completely ridiculous. It has a purpose but that's no it.

@@inhometraineroakville1174 ive used bong sao as like a parry, but to set up a counter or to cut an angle off of it. Is that a good way to use it?
