    I am enjoying my new Everse 8 and EV sub. The app is awesome. Its really hard to pick between the Bose S1pro and sub1 the EV set. And a mackie thump go on a Bose sub1. They all sound so good.
    I love both of these subs especially matched up with the same brand tops you can definitely tell they where made for each other. LOL that S1pro is a defferant speaker on the top of a sub1 or sub2.
    Great video!

    Thanks for your reviews. I tried Bose pro S1 and not impressed with the output, actually the first unit I received new was faulty which was not impressive.. I will invest in this Ev Sub plus the new EV ZLX 12P G2 which has just been released.

      Agree, that new EV G2 is next level if you don't need internal battery.

    Forgot to mention! If in the future you get the Bose Pro32, you can buy only the column and you will already have the Sub1. In my case I have the Pro32 with the Sub2 package and I bought the Sub1 for when I need light weight mobility and not max bass output.

    Hi Bill thanks for your videos! i would like to see review ELX200 12sp vs SVS3000. and my question is for home use which sub is better for edm music in 35 square meter room? thank you

    • @WWeiss-nv5vz
      @WWeiss-nv5vz  Před 5 měsíci

      Do you mean SVS SB 3000 or Micro 3000? Micro3000 no way! EDM music at what volume in the home? I sometimes play Electronic music at live levels for a track or two in the home. We're talking over 100dB. SVS SB3000 is struggling at those volumes but the ELX200 is not even breaking a sweat! Of course the SVS digs down to 18Hz where EV rolls off at 40Hz. EDM does have a lot of content below 20 Hz. EV/live sound subs are tuned at 40Hz for that punch in the chest bass you experience in a club. SB3000 much cleaner/Hifi bass but still shakes the walls! Just not up to 129dB like the EV.

    hey quick question? would the exm prosub or the rcf tt808s fit in to this category and would u possibly review it in the future

    • @WWeiss-nv5vz
      @WWeiss-nv5vz  Před 5 měsíci +1

      Exm sub is a No go for me because it is $900 and doesn't have a user replaceable battery. At 122dB much less output than EV sub at 129dB. tt808 is a rip off at $2,400. Same weight and 129db output as EV sub only $1,600 more!!

    Hello,thank you for your videos!And want to ask you wich speakers and sub is the best sounding for edrum in the home?Greetings from Lithuania!

      Glad you are liking the videos! Greetings from U.S.A
      Comes down to max weight and budget. Also do you want realistic live drum volume or practice volume? Any plans for live play? Outdoors needs even more volume. For example my PA set up in the home is fixed so weight is not a factor. My set up: A pair of QSC KW122, single QSC KS118. Let me know, many great choices.

    • @zmogusGiedriusS.
      @zmogusGiedriusS. Před 5 měsíci +1

      I believe QSC KW122 and KS118 sound great in higher volumes but how it's sound in mid or low volumes for edrums with tracks?
      I want for home great quality sound PA set,playing covers or drumless tracks.
      And thank you again!

    • @WWeiss-nv5vz
      @WWeiss-nv5vz  Před 5 měsíci +1

      If you don't need that kind of volume, my next step down would be a pair of QSC K8.2 paired with a Bose Sub2. I like the Sub2 better than the 12 inch QSC because it goes down lower to 37Hz and you can really tell the difference for kick drum.czcams.com/video/PLT-192t-Wc/video.html

      Hi Bill,thanks for fast response and taking the time to share your knowledge.I’m appreciate all of your valuable input and information.And about the subs…on the specifications lowest frequencys Bose SUB2 is 37Hz vs. QSC KS112 (-10db)38-121Hz.Are these differences are heard with edrums?Do I need mixer(maybe yamaha MG?) and cables with Roland TD50x?
      Thanks,have a great day.

    • @zmogusGiedriusS.
      @zmogusGiedriusS. Před 5 měsíci +1

      And maybe the last question for making purchase is my edrums room size - 15m²?!Are these two QSC 8.2 and one SUB2 would not be so big and do they reviel its nice sound potential?
      Do I need one more step down?(QSC KC8 with SUB1 or QSC112sub)?Anyway,thank you Bill !

    When you plug the Bose into the portable battery, what does it say the wattage draw is ? I’m curious

    • @WWeiss-nv5vz
      @WWeiss-nv5vz  Před 5 měsíci +2

      At Max 100db volume, 194 watts, at reasonable volumes say 80-90db only draws 40-70 watts! You still need say 500 watts+ in an external power source running a sub for peaks. czcams.com/video/uuIJ9vj4E1c/video.html

    In this price range I would also consider the Kali Audio WS-12, Doubles as a studio/PA sub. 123dB as loud as Bose Sub1 but goes down to 23Hz. Downside, heavy at 63 Lbs www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/WS12SubV2--kali-audio-ws-12-v2-12-inch-powered-subwoofer?mrkgadid=&mrkgcl=28&mrkgen=gpla&mrkgbflag=1&mrkgcat=drums&percussion&acctid=21700000001645388&dskeywordid=&lid=58700008696010903&dsproductgroupid=&product_id=WS12SubV2&prodctry=US&prodlang=en&channel=online&storeid=&device=c&network=x&matchtype=&adpos=largenumber&locationid=9031179&creative=&targetid=&campaignid=21160912466&awsearchcpc=&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjwgpCzBhBhEiwAOSQWQbRBly-DuZRB_JrnUeo422kBaKhu81-ZR86xnofRNH3aw_ADQlFvzxoCxrsQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
