Belichick's football memory is beyond impressive.
No lie! The details he remembers are insane
I’ll never get over him spending 15 minutes at a press conference going into the history of long snappers and naming every guy that changed special teams 😂
@@eliyarrows2456 I had never seen that but with how much he values special teams I could totally see that happening
We know he will not 4get these last couple of years ITS been a lot of losing 🤬
@@clarencecollins400also won't forget his 2 dynasties clown
I played football for Navy 1982-1984 as punter. Steve Belichick was our special team’s coach. Such a wonderful coach. He was so proud of his son Bill.
Thank you for your service
That is so cool!
He was coach at army not navy
@@Mendoza1414 no he wasn’t. He coached at navy from 1956-1989 look it up
Its true i was the navy.
Belichick lights up whenever he gets to talk about football history, especially when he's around other football lifers. It's always a pleasure to watch.
Belicheck is the best example of “He doesn’t say a lot, but when he does, people listen”. Every word he speaks the crowd goes silent. Truly an example silent respect
Bill would be a legendary commentator. All his stories and background and has seen everything football has ever done. 40 mill a year wouldn't be enough
I see him being John Madden 2.0. I don’t think he’d do color commentary after coaching but I sure hope he does.
I would love nothing more than to here him in the booth would be a HUGE upgrade over guys like Gary danielson or cris collinsworth would actually provide analysis that fans haven’t heard before
There's some people who think they'll try to get him in the booth with Tom, which is wild to even think about. You see a bunch of people calling the idea of him in broadcasting crazy. Interviews like this show why it's not.
Bill and Brady in the box together one day!!
We need more of this BB. He’s an encyclopedia.
I love how everyone is shocked Bill can be so conversational. Us Pats fans know because we've seen him for 20+ years, but it makes me chuckle how non Pats fans think he talks like he does at press conferences all the time. It's just an act folks, he does it to protect the team.
It's not people who are non Pats fans you mental retard..lol You honestly can't be that stupid..hahaha
Bill is the man
He doesn't give his opponents anything they can use, he doesn't talk to his team via press. Bill doesn't do drama. If you ask him about football that doesn't involve the Patriots game prep you cannot shut him up. He’ll talk your ear off.
Exactly, you know he is a good smart guy when, in all these years, I’ve never seen a major personal attack about him by a former teammate or coach.
As Sean McDermott rescinds a 9/11 communication example
he does it because he hates journalists and their stupid bait questions that he knows they'll try to spin into some bs.
As a diehard football fan, this really makes my heart smile
Why can't Bill just be like this in all his press conferences... ? This was a classic interview.
Because he doesn’t like how sensational most journalists are and how they try to spin everything being said. Here, Pat and crew are just wanting to hear about something he loves.
WHY should he?
Cause the stupid reporters do nothing but criticize him and ask him dumb questions
Because he's not being asked questions about his football team, he's giving his perspective on the Army v Navy rivalry.
Cuz the media asked dumb questions and he doesn’t want to give away things to the other team in his press conferences
I could listen to him talk football for hours. Dinner, drink and listening to his stories.
He has some segments on the nfl top 100 with players like Ed Reed you’d probably like
SOUND LIKE YOU WOULD PUT OUT TOO.
so many people didn't watch that NFL 100 special they were doing in 2019, he was similar to what you see here. when you ask him about the history of the game, he opens up so much it's really cool. the man truly loves the game of football.
Having Bill on for this, shows life comes at you full circle. Him and Corso need to have a podcast episode together
Corso is half dead.
This is the most I’ve seen Belichick spoke in a very long time
Bill is a football historian. Love listening to him under these formats.
Im an army guy, but hearing Bill's story from his perspective was pretty cool.
So happy the Army-Navy game is finally being played in NE. I heard the tickets were harder to get than any Pats playoff game. As a Navy veteran I’m rooting for the Middies! 🇺🇸👍
There was no where to stay either since the state of Massachusetts cancelled hotel reservations for veterans for this weekend to accommodate migrants.
Belichick is normally close mouthed to the media he doesn’t want to talk about his team and the medias always trying to spin things so they get extra clicks/views. But when you ask Bill honest questions about the game he’ll give you a genuine and passionate response
Coach Eddie Erdelatz for Navy (mentioned by Belichick at 2:15) was my great grandfather!
Oh right, Bill's an insane genius with unbelievable memory and recall.
It's surreal see Pat talking with Bill Belichick.
New found respect for Coach Belicheck and his love for Coach Corso. Football is America
Back in the day, Navy football coaches also taught PE, so a lot of students remember his dad not from football but for teaching them swimming or another sport.
Man its great to see this side of BB. he is the GOAT
It's cool to see how he adores the older men in his life. And respects them when they speak to him. We're just used to his press conference face. Or his game face.
That’s the most syllables that I’ve heard Bill talk in a long time 😂
And
The Patriots would never fire this genius. Letting Brady go was a mistake but man this dude rules.
Ya I’m sick of seeing Boston slander this man for a few bumps in the road. It’s insane
Knock it off. Belicheck is mediocre, at best. What was/ is his record before and after Brady. I rest my case.
Look at his draft record past Gronk.
If they do I am 100p on board with Vikings snagging him
I like our coach I’m happy to keep him but I wouldn’t pass on a goat like Belicheck
Immense respect for that man
@@andrewfalconer8599you’re a fool
I don’t think I’ve ever seen bill so relaxed on camera
I get a chill down my spine listening to Bill tell old football stories. He is a national treasure!
The posters in the back are awesome, lmao. So cool that Belichick came AHT for this.
Can you imagine Army/Navy. Purcell, Red Blaik, Coach K, Roger S, Coach Bill, and coach Bobby Knight. Wow
Somebody needs to follow Bill around with a camera for the rest of his days picking his brain about football. He is fascinating
New England loves you! Everything came together perfectly, all at the same time. Tom Brady picked in the 6th round, Coach Belichick, and Bob Kraft. There will never be anything like that again. Six Super Bowl wins! Then you have the New England Fans! Best sports fans in the country 🇺🇸
Coach Belichick 🫡😭 breaks my heart that New England has turned its back on you
No we did not, I think his time as a GM should be over, but if we land a talent like Jayden Daniels or Caleb we absolutely need Bill to be there to coach them. Our defense is still a a nightmare just don’t give us an offensive threat.
we have not
100% not true!! The local media has for their own personal messed up reasons.. but us real fans, have BB's back all day every day!!
Don't let them say they didn't turn their back on bill, they totally did.
No we didn’t. It’s the casuals and bandwagons that want him gone, real ones know we still somehow have an elite defense even with all the injuries.
As Patriot fans,we have grown very accustomed to both the very friendly tone and timber of coach belichick's voice during this convo after every game the past few years.
He is a joy to listen to,as is root canal surgery.
What a wholesome and heartwarming interview. Go Knights! Merry Christmas, all!
Belicheck talking ball is amazing to hear. The excitement and historical context is 2nd to none.
Knew this would be more than good. Coach narrating the NFL Top 100 was the best.
oh yeah, hear him talking about Ed Reed really sticks in the memory.
I love my coach. I’m not gonna turn my back on him, so many years of enjoyment because of him and the players.
Bill looks more happy being an analyst than a head coach
Even before I joined the Army my family and I always watched the Army vs Navy game. We had no service obligation (Uncle served in the Air Force), but we always cheered for Army. The 4th Quarter is always where the action is in this game, one turnover, 3rd down stop can swing momentum in either direction. Yesterday was another testament to that, what a great game between both Academies.
GO ARMY BEAT NAVY!!!!!!!!
I'm a pats fan listened to bill press conferences for 19 years I'm all in on lotening to every episode or show he's on
You have to appreciate bill and his history with football ..
I know he just kicked our behinds Thursday but it's nice to see Bill this happy
The greatest defensive mind in football history. Love to see him light up when he gets to talk about football history.
It’s clear Bill is great at scouting people (the human being) and having great appreciation for what they’re good at, or their good qualities. It reminds me of Phil Jackson, Jackson was much more liberal but he understood people better than any coach.
My goodness, this is a conversation that ... how does one say? Makes me ... proud
Upload this whole thing please
The love between the 2 coaches❤❤
Damien Woody said that behind closed doors, Belichick is actually very talkative and shockingly, very very funny lol. I would love to be a fly during Patriots practice.
If I had a football fantasy it would be to just shadow Bill for a season. Just sit in and watch him do his thing, a fly on the wall act like I'm not even there.
Pirate on roller skates.
He truly loves the game. It's a joy watching and listening to him talk about coaching and the game.
I love respect that is giving in this interview
2:15 pink sign had me chuckling
Respect to all
Think this is the most I've ever heard Bill talk. His voice is higher than I thought
This was just amazing, Belichicks down memory lane knowledge is outstanding.
I love this show.
i could listen to belichick talk about football all day
To be honest at this his age .. he should like a weekly football talk .. I think he can give you more than 300 episodes easily
Bill is a class act, the respect he showed to Coach Corso was so wonderful to watch. Bill will break Schula's record in New England next year when the Pats go 12 and 5 and he will break the record in the playoffs. It's going to be amazing to watch. All you haters keep on hating, it's pathetic.
This game is very important. With the PAC 12 getting cancelled, probably more important than ever. I don’t care if both of these teams were 0-12, I support it. We shouldn’t let some rich dudes that couldn’t give two shites about us control the outcomes of our favorites sports.
Dope! Life goes quick enjoy it 🇺🇸
The “Drain the main vein” sign ina back is crazy..
Luh you Coach Belichick
World’s longest recording of Bill actually talking. Definitely bookmarking this!
the drain the main vein sign behind bill is gold. mcafee show fans iykyk
Anytime he talks about history, im such in awe...
legends everywhere
As a life long Buffalo Bills fan who has been beaten down by Bill B., I have nothing but respect for him.
Bill once gave a 10 minute answer about the Long Snapper position. When he wants to talk football, he can bring it
Idk about the gm part but he’s legendary
My lord! Belichick would be phenomenal on TV!
The game was great. Came down to a half yard on the last play. 17-11 Army. Congrats to them.
As a foreigner who just happens to be a football fan and comes from a military family this game is very special for one reasons. These young men will go onto that field and "kill" each other to win. Off that field and several years from now they may need to die for each other and they will make that sacrifice. That is what makes this particular college game so special.
Yessir PAT never holds back ❗️ I know he probably wanted to ask if he was gonna leave new england too but didnt
You can always see how much Kirk loves LC. At the end when bill was telling the story about his father and LC, and Kirk pats him on the back. 🥺
Dan Patrick has been trying for years to get coach Belichick on his show for years just to talk about Army Navy Game
He deserves a mention for this
My favorite game to watch ever year go ARMY
We can really learn alot from this guy
I like the sign that says drain the main vein 😂
What a great show with the meeting of the minds of two of the greatest coaches ever.
Sadden me that now ESPN spends time making fun of Lee Corso but in his prime nobody could out coach him.
Also Bill Belichick 71 year old football brain is amazing to recall every detail of the play of Army/Navy game
At least for one moment the ESPN circus show was humbled by one of the great games of college football
Besides being a Pats fan (I Know) this man is the absolute best in talking history of the game.
Wow I never heard him speak so much in this way
Nice of BB to give Coach Corso great Kudos.
Both Terrible coaches
I bet Bill appreciates getting to show some love to his father on this stage
Love coach Belichick. ❤️ 🏈
There is obviously 2 Belichicks. Bill the coach and Bill the fan. Bill the coach is a steel trap who you couldn't pry an answer from even if the question is "how are you?". The other is clearly in love with the sport and happy to gush about his passion
Class Act!
Belichick best ever
The Goat
A great man
Why cut this off, post the entire thing
This is more words from Bill than all of his Patriots press conferences combined 😂
When Bill spoke to Navy he mentioned how they shouldn’t be too upset losing to Army. Hmmm. Wonder who I served with. 😁All the best to everyone and thanks to everyone for their service. Enjoy the game.
Bill to the Bills
this is insane
😢😂😂😮 Vamos a hacer
B.B. is a legend
Pat- Bill the greatest NFL GM is quite the stretch 😂
I would love to see Bill and Lee work a game together. How Bout the Superbowl or the college NC?
BB has to get the record here in NE. We've got this. Might even beat the Chiefs next week.
Exudes charisma
