I don't reside in Florida. This may be of interest to potential CCW license candidates. Usually there are two types of CCW license. Either Unrestricted or Restricted. Restricted CCW licenses are limited to carry revolvers only. An Unrestricted CCW license allows you to carry both pistols or revolvers. It all depends on which handgun is used on the shooting portion of the test. If you shoot a revolver you get a Restricted CCW. Shoot so much as a .22LR pistol and you get an Unrestricted license. This is why all CCW instructors have a .22LR pistol for those that rather use revolvers. Get the Unrestricted CCW license and carry all the revolvers you want.

I live in AZ and have my ccw here. I plan on moving to Florida in a few months, will my ccw be valid in Florida?
It’s good for 90 days then you will need a FL cwp to carry legally.
Depending on State law. You may need to get a new driver's license. In this case a Florida State driver's license. You must have the same address that is listed on the driver's license and the CCW license. Also, check with a CCW instructor on transfer of a CCW. Requirements are different between the States. If there is reciprocity between Arizona and Florida then it may be easier. Regardless if you have to go through another shooting class, why worry? Taking another shooting class is just having fun shooting again. Any day at the range is always better than a day working at some goofy job you hate anyways
