Ever since I came to this channel over 3 years ago and the opportunity to learn this amazing ilm, I kept asking.. why me.. why have I been given this knowledge. Wallahi, I don’t follow Dr Hani blindly but have not established an alternative to his methodological concept. It really endears me more than the traditional way of thinking. My faith towards Allah grows daily and discards anything that is Shirk in every foam. To repeat, I don’t follow Dr Hani blindly but am must toil hard to ensure that am within the necessary concept amicable as dictated by Allah. Dr Hani for the moment proves an outstanding person of unequalled credentials.
Alhamdulillah we ceased our old ways of following blindly. This itself is a gift from Allah to be open-minded and submissive to evidence.
İ agree with your comment. Dr Hany has always reminded us that we need to do our own toiling so that we can develop solid conviction on he has disclosed. Otherwise we will be just like most others who follow other people's opinions.

But Ramadan is preIslamic pagan origin.Circulating, kissing and hugging black stone are also pagan.Safa & Mawa are also pagan. Ablution is also paganism.
This touching segment teaches a different concept of fasting than we had learned from generations. We were fasting year after year, with everything staying the same internally and externally. Every year, Ramadan comes and goes; we become so religious during the month of Ramadan and read tarawih, keep fast, and read the Quran as much as possible, and never bother to learn the meaning. On top of that, we thought we had collected so many good deeds and boosted ourselves, and we believed that we were forgiven and directly going to Al Firdaus. But after learning the true meaning of Ramadan, Siyam, Fidya, Mareed, Safar, Ta’aam Miskeen, and much more from this channel, Marvelous Quran, we all need to unlearn old concepts and learn this new concept directly from the Quran. I feel much better and peaceful internally after learning from this segment. I see how Allahh made everything so systemic and meaningful; we were blind to all these beautiful concepts. The part where you mentioned about the mental acrobatic is a curious point.
The acrobatic still felt familiar technique and makes an okay sense.
Therefore the ayah can have two layers of meaning just like many other.
Fast it if you witness the declaration, or become those who Fast if you observe (but refuse to do the duty/testimony) of the declaration.
But maybe the acrobatic part is that the denigration to become those who Fast might be interpreted as a future event at death.
So since it uses present tense, it means fasting in this life.
In one word Alhamdulillah; in more, best to watch again. This is due reverence to the message. thanks to Dr. Hany. We are privileged hence responsible. Alhamdulillah and go back to first word ..

After seeing the translation of aya 2:182, where you translated 'moosi' as 'someone who left the heritage', suddenly I felt that 'Musa' may not be a proper name, rather it could be a descriptor of 'someone who left the heritage of Torah for his people'!

Salaamun alaikun, this is an out of this worldly type session and Allah(swa) helped me to completely comprehend it. I had a near death experience once and I was there hopelessly trapped. Therefore I cannot question too much of what you interpreted (on point) please for those of us who connect keep the ilm coming.

Not sure if I can mention it as a near-death experience (NDE), but almost 15 years back I had a similar feeling! After a surgery I was about to wake up and just before that maybe for some few moments I had a horrible experience! My feeling was- there was a bright white background where all of the disintegrated molecules of my body were circling something and each one of them was screaming to come back to my worldly body calling my own name continuously! The post-operative room wall-clock and ceiling fan seemed so slow and I could count the blades and every second separately for an unknown period of time! Was watching the nurses and hearing their voices, which seemed to me was coming from a different world!
Don't know how long I was in that situation, but that experience changed my life for good!

Salamun alaikum Dr. Hany. Blessings on you. You are the pioneer in my search for the truth and Alhamdulillah it’s a blessing to have you here. I just wanted to present one of my thoughts from toiling on the quran that the Quran is the only book of guidance since the beginning and toraah, injeel and zaboor are in the Quran. It’s not in the capacity of humans to distort the words of god as believed that earlier books were corrupted.
And the stories of prophets and others are for our guidance rather than having physical existence and are equally applicable today. Jazak Allah u khair.

Pretty much on point. There are real physical stories and the (Aydee of the) Quran took the liberty (by Allahh's leave, and under the watchful eye of Jibril) to "dress them up" for the purposes of the final revelation. Repeated segments of similar-sounding scenes are meant for us to unravel the Hoor, and to decipher advanced knowledge concealed within them.

One last thing though; can fasting be understood as the sleep itself since you know, you literally fast in that time, but I don't know, just popped up in my mind while watching the video, don't want to be more of a headache.
