Went to one of his shows in London years ago when i was a kid, his work blew my mind. Even till today 15+ years on i draw inspiration from him in my oil paintings. Legend

9:27 starts talking about the greeting
It's a darn shame that a few vignettes of many of Viola's finer videos were not shown in this Charlie Rose segment. One of those could have been "A Room for Saint John of the Cross" or "Heaven and Earth" or "The Crossing." Instead we get the super slo-mo "The Greeting" -- not very interesting visually, not enthralling conceptually.
