LEDs look great when they’re done correctly. This is a beautiful build. Thanks for posting.
Who checks in to CZcams on Sundays?! Thanks for watching early notification squad!
I do ,,,, keep it up
CarAudioFabrication have you seen the crap they rerun over and over on TV? It's always good to check out what the guru of fabrication has done. 🖒
Haha good point
great work! and yes the led's pop!!
CarAudioFabrication what size acrylic did you Use keep up the good work mark!!!
That there's some good stuff man. You actually encouraged me to do a project for the 1st time in my f150. Thanks for dumbing down some of the work. Makes it a WHOLLLE LOT EASIER. AWESOME JOB GUYS !!!!
I'm a big fan of these. Thanks so much for making these vids man. I used one of your vids to help make my first ported box for 2 10" mtx 5510's and they really pump. Little by little i'm increasing my range of tools and knowledge on how to use them, I recently got a plunge router(no table) but, in time i hope i get to this point. Keep up the good work!.
I’m jealous u have a router! One day, like u, I’ll own one!
Good video, Mark, again. I think as long as they are done right, LEDs are really a must! Your install looks great and can't wait to see it wrapped in vinyl!
your murdering this I stall bro. I love that your just a guy in his garage doing it. it makes me feel like I can and I attempt the stuff I learn. great channel bro
The stuff your doing, and the quality of your videos is simply mind blowing. Ian extremely impressed with ALL the videos I've seen thusfar, and have in fact picked up some great ideas for my own build.
Thanks, and keep up the amazing work!
Great job mark ... love this install . I’m sure you keep your customers very happy
Really like your work ethic and the quality of your builds and your videos. Keep up the good work!
Awesome job! Love the detail you put into your builds.
Think that's the first time I've seen one of your custom systems play. Sounded good!!
I think LED's can be very complimentary to a build. I added some to mine for some minor accent lighting. Although I have mine on a switch so I don't always have to have it on. Thanks for the great tutorials! Nice work!
I always use LEDs in my car audio. and sometimes other places. the build looks great the mesh really make it come together.
Your vids are great, man, and I want to thank you for your time and effort to create them...not enough stuff like this on CZcams!
Thanks! Here are some of my other popular video series you may enjoy!

Loving this fabrication, the LEDs look great, too many lights can get gaudy but this build is super clean and tasteful 👍🏻
That looks awesome, lots of attention to detail. I couldn't wrap my head around the mesh until i saw it finished, but it looks great! I am a bit of a show off, so I love LED lights in installs. Obviously, it has to make sense visually with the build, and should never take away from the actual audio equipment, but very cool with all that in place!
Great job Mark beautiful as always and love the progress keep up the great work ✌️
Love the LED’s 👍🏻 I’m in the middle of building my ICE install at the moment so this video was very useful, thanks 😎🤙🏻
Beautiful work brother every time i see your vids im extremely impressed and motivated!
Haha love all of your videos man! Your amazing I love car audio and you take it to a whole new level for me!
Loved the quick stop at the shop and a quick look at your gear in your car!
Keep it up :):):):)
Absolutely sick install! All the work you do is second to none. Great job and keep the the flawless work👏👏👏
Thank you!
I used the blue LEDs on my Pioneer amp rack and it looks awesome. Love the lights.
Crazy. Every time I go to do a mod or upgrade, start my research.hit play.......you again!!! Subscribed!!! I'll try to catch up in your stuff.
Another awesome video as always!:). I for one really like "tasteful" (not over done) lighting, such as what you did here!
U r one of the best of the industry if not the best, I can't compliment on your talents enough
hey man loved the build I own a jeep so it was very informative down fall my lay out is different used rockford speakers and amp as well jl audio sub and xd400/4 amp together they rock
as long as they are not over used...LED lights can add a nice touch to an install ...great job!!!
If installed correctly LED's look great. Yours are awesome.
I have to watch the videos, to make sure you will be the best person to do,and make a video build of my Project!!! Good videos and Great knowledge!
It looks really nice with light just adds that little touch to make you stand out from the rest at meets or even at car shows
i really like the neatness and detail to your work and designs 👍quality stuff
Really smooth like allways mark! Thumbs up for LED!
I see CAF video ,, I like and then watch
now that is an amazing episode ,,, way to go buddy !!!
I love LED lights as it brings more life to the install and equipment. I might add some to my install also LOL
Looking so sick bro! And keep making your top notch videos.
Awesome I love the way leds look!!
Looks awesome Mark!
I myself love incorporating l.e.ds in my installs. I think they bring the finished product to a new level an make it stand out from the rest.
Looks awesome. Great looking piece
First, let me say how delighted I am to have found this series. I love the commitment to craft. While I prefer a little subtler style, all these elements can be used at a lower key, and for purely functional (as opposed to decorative) purposes, with a high level of aesthetic appeal.
On a purely selfish note, I’ll say that I’m working on a Miata build, which means that I would love direction for good sound in a VERY small spaces, and very clean, simple appearance.
(Oh, and grammar nazi here-since LED stands for “light emitting diode”, “LED lights” is redundant 😜.
no way these light bring out the beautiful designs ..we luv it
Absolutely clean job
I know its a 4 year old video but i really like this install. I don't know if anyone has said this but you can increase how much light is diffused into your piece by sanding the edges of the acrylic so the light gets scattered in more directions with up to 600 grit sand paper. You can also do custom logos with custom vinyl sticker and a sand blaster. Blasting it several times will deepen the etch and it will light up better.
LED’s are awesome! This looks great!
Love l.e.ds I use them in a lot of my builds, and on my own vehicles as well!
Install looking great! I have used a very similar LED product and had lights fail over time and the adhesive let go. My install didn't allow for taping as you did to provide extra secure connections. I would say, just figure on the adhesive failing and design accordingly. The failuire of actual lights surprised me more. LEDs are supposed to be 20,000 hr lights, but not all LEDs are equal I guess. Thanks for your shows!
Looks good 😎😎 great job 😎😎 much love and respect from Mexico
They a wicked luxury look to me, I own alpha Customs in fort Saint John bc, keep up the good work brother🤘🏼
Led lights can be cool, as long as you dont over do it. You did a nice job and I noticed the same things that you stated in the video. Your making me thing about going some more led stuff. .
Love them. Your good at what you do bro
Dude you're a beast...WAY above my level
come out awesome thanks for the help and sharing
Great design ideas. Keep it going.
Looks Excellent.
looks fantastic !!!!! I personally like the way LED's draw attention to a nice install
Thank you, I agree, can be used to draw the eye to different areas.
I have LED's installed on mine , along with acrylic panels on my amp racks but no where near the quality of work that you put out , all I have to work with is simple hand tools and a hand held router and jigsaw . did the sub boxes in vinyl to match the cars interior colors . now that I've seem your RGB LED's on yours I wish I had used them instead of just the Blue I used .
The LED's look good on some cars but really depends on the type of build and the look your going for IMHO. Great video Mark.
Not sure if you have ever thought about or tried hot glue to assist in holding the led when you used tesa tape but it works amazing and you dont have the worry about covering the bulbs it is also non conductive and water proof (when completely sealed)
Lol Im watching this video for the first time in 2024 and driving the Pontiac Grand Prix while listening to skrillex gave me a chuckle. I used to own a Grand Prix and bumped Skrillex as well. Still do occasionally cuz dubstep really tests out my system and sounds great on it.
I Like them it looks sick
Great work skip!
thats a great install. I like the lights.
Love the LEDs very cool videos.
Looks good man.
Love the look!
when I soldering leds I use a little Flux on the strip. I know that solder now a days has Flux built into it, but the solder seems to bit harder onto the the strip. I also taking the tip of the razor blade and scratching the copper points also helps with solder adhesion
Very nice job. Professional
By the way LED's are really awesome when combined with acrylic. To be honest, LED's are not always cool. Only when the build looks really sharp and clean, like yours. Great job dude!
That's beautiful work
Nicely done.
I love them!!
I like led lights , looks good mark
Dude you do fantastic work..the led's look great.!! FYI you know how you pretty much do everything with the router table, imagine what you could make with a CNC router machine. Design the whole thing on the computer and let the program do it's thing. You could create some pretty spectacular designs and shapes.
nice job good install bro well explined
LED light, yes or no? My opion is what makes the customer happy. Great job.
Looking good man!!!!👍👍👍👍
i love the design and look
great work!
I love lights especially sound activated
I LOVE LEDs they're are best and I dont think they're too much at all!
That’s awesome work
well I'm running 3 hifonics zues that have the hifonics lit in blue so my intention is to run blue led's around border of amp rack so I needed this video, thx Mark
nice job bro i wish i knew about these long before
Another good vid.
Great job
Damn man. Got it going on. Love it
Very well done thank you
i think that looks incredible
auto leds can be sweet when they aren't stripped like some sort of vegas attraction. the project came out well, but can you show how you wired the lights into the vehicle's power, or maybe i wasn't paying attention during that part. i'll rewind...
kodiak wild seperate video.
You can splice it into the radio power so that it can be on when the radio is on
very informative. thanks
Nice video. i like led lights if its nice and clean installation as how you do it
Impressive work !!! I didn't that look with lights on.
LED Lights are awesome! :)
I think if done subtle and not obnoxiously where theres LED everywhere they really accent the pieces nicely and high light certain points very well.
Very helpful video, I'm about at the stage of doing lighting in my install. Was curious how you would install LED's without using acrylic? Ive got three cutouts in my panel, one main one that will show off an old school MA Audio 6 channel with the window on top(going to install two COB LED strips into it) and the other two cutouts are just going to have some grill mesh since there is not anything under them.
I love the LED’s!!!
Thats beautiful man
Thank you. I'm very happy with how it turned out.
LEDs are honestly one of my favorite things in the world
Looks awesome Mark, but I'm still waiting for your feedback on custom Stitch work for one of your builds so everyone can see how nice decorative top stitching can be on some of this outstanding work that you do.
Great video man keep it up.
So in this video what type of wires did you use and what size? How do you connect them to get power to them? I know you soldered 1 end of the wires to the led lights but where and how do you connect the other end of the wires? THANKS
There came a day I felt too old to be that flashy with the lights, but your work is phenomenal. People's tastes do change but I can still appreciate the time and talent it took for you to make that all come together!
Thanks!
CarAudioFabrication I’m surprised you still responded. I’m impressed. Cheers
