GoW 1 multiplayer was my home forever. Perfecting timed reloads and peak firing a HS from the shotty or pulling an insane snipe just to curb stomp the enemy when they were downed was peak gameplay for me. Or the saw execution glitch where you could move to avoid being killed. đ€©

Gears 3 was peak, multiplayer was good, horde and beast were good and the campaign brought one of the saddest deaths in video games while concluding a trilogy in heartbreaking yet hopeful fashion.
High skill gap doesnât necessarily mean itâs hard to get into, a high skill floor does though. Hopefully they can manage the balance.

I'm a huge GOW fan, and by that I mean a fan of the first game....multiplayer, namely execution on GOW1 is unmatched to this day, even 18 years later. Gamertag is Gods True Son...f'ing love that game â€
The second and third games never captured me like the first. They changed unnecessarily, and therefore ruined, the mechanics of the game and the gnasher, and I just remember multiplayer feeling so clunky. Hopefully they can recapture some of that magic...đ€đŒ

Iâll never forget playing multiplayer for the first time and seeing people just spam diving into cover to get close and either shotgun or melee you đthat and the bow gun is basically the meta.

I want a battlefield rush kind of game mode with battlefront hero mechanics only for the locusts side for things like boomers. Hard to balance ik but I reckon it'd be sick as fuck. Be something for the casuals to be happy enough playing.

Gears 1 multi player was the absolute best. When gears came out I was done gaming. The first rime I played GOW I feel in love and bought an Xbox the next morning with Gears. Not to toot my own horn but I was pretty high on some ranked scoreboards.

Everyone forgets that gears 5 suffered badly from having no anti-cheat. The game dropped when crossplay was finally becoming a thing. Cheaters killed the MP.
Secondly the game would blow up if it had a Battle Royale component.

For real, idek how they would fix it. The meta is just dominated by the gnasher cover-slide combo (which is so ridiculously op I donât even blame people for using it) and it just makes it impossible to use anything else.
