Cuando le preguntabas sobre ¨crédito social¨ no te entendió bien él... lo que te estaba describiendo es el ¨criminal record¨, que existe igual en cualquier país, si cometiste crímenes graves obviamente que estarás fichado en la policía. Cruzar la calle en rojo caminando no te afecta en absolutamente NADA, salvo que lo hagas frente a un oficial de transito y te quiera multar (con 20 a 50 yuanes y solo si te pones a discutir, la mayoría de las veces los dejan seguir), te multan en el mismo lugar. Cualquier expat que haya andado en bicicleta por avenidas no habilitadas lo sabe... te paran, te retan o te multan y listo. Los conductores de automóviles tienen que seguir reglas igual que en cualquier pais y ahi si tenes puntos de la licencia que vas perdiendo si cruzas un semáforo en rojo o vas a alta velocidad... incluso si perdes todos los puntos y la licencia, el castigo es que tenes que hacer el examen de conducir desde cero. NO EXISTE EL CRÉDITO SOCIAL en China con puntos que ganas o perdés, eso es una falacia muy ridícula que repartieron los medios occidentales desde hace unos años. Los castigos de no poder tomarte un tren o ir en primera clase solo se aplican cuando alguien está procesado por estafas, te controlan que no gastes dinero en pasajes VIP y en excesos cuando en realidad deberías devolver el dinero que robaste a tus empleados y acreedores. Solo aplica a empresas e individuos a cargo de empresas en esas situaciones. Solo toma 10 minutos de pararse en un cruce de calles y ver como medio millón de motos y peatones cruzan el semáforo en rojo para entender cuál es la realidad... media China ya tendría el crédito en negativo si fuera real, jaja.
dan hasta risa las preguntas que le hacen al chino por lo ignorante que suenan. Es literal pura propaganda con la que los medios de comunicacion le han lavado el cerebro al resto del mundo para demonizar a china, los chinos, su vision, el comunismo, etc.

As a Chinese, I cannot understand the prejudices of foreign media and Westerners. The government does not have a social credit system and does not conduct credit scores on anyone. But it does not rule out that companies will conduct credit ratings on individuals, such as bank credit mechanisms. Alibaba has credit ratings for individuals who participate in online shopping on its platform. With a high credit rating, you can enjoy higher loans and have more rights to return goods. Public transportation companies also have the right to refuse people who repeatedly fail to observe public order and discipline to take public transportation. Isn't this normal?

I have never heard of restricting public transportation, even for people who owe money and don't pay it back. The only restrictions are on buying luxury goods or taking planes, high-speed trains, but there are no restrictions on regular travel.

@@youngyoung2980 problem is NOT having such system is good or not, it seems to me that the whole "social credit" narrative is fabricated. From my understanding, it seems what they have is very similar to those in democratic and developed countries. For example, if one has bad credit records, the bank won't grant him credit card or loan applications, or in worser case, if one has major financial violation such as scam or fraud, he'll be revoked certain rights, or if one has bad tracking records of traffic violations, he'll be forced to be reeducated by attending traffic classes or have his driver's licence revoked.. etc. maybe china has more strict rules but it seems not much of a difference from other countries?!
about the so-called social credit points，after me arriving Canada for study，many local friends and my classmates from other region have asked me the same thing and i wasn't even know what were they talking about，i was thinking my English was too bad to understand，so i checked it online and those English and traditional Chinese sources made me speechless.
basically，this concept is made by western media about 7 years ago（the earliest video i could find on CZcams），and when they are trying to prove that this system exists，they show audiences some pictures that bags of rice with notes “30 scores”or “40 scores” on those bags，and then show security cameras that is watching u and all these clips are shown under very heavy filters，make all clips look very scary and terrible. but actrually, those scores are kind of bank points，like if u buy a specific insurance， the bank would give u like 100 points which can be used to buy some items in some shops that has partnership with that bank. they took the picture，and made a story that so many people bought it.
i think one of the biggest problems that why so many western people are so easy to buy such saying is that they don‘t understand any chinese. if they knew，the entire document would be hilarious. can u imagine chinese document points on ur Walmart points and tell Chinese people these are evil capitalism conspiracy？basically the same thing.

There are special traffic laws to deal with violations of traffic regulations. Criminal offenses are dealt with by specialized criminal laws, same as civil disputes are handled by specialized civil laws.

It can surprise you how severely brainwashed by western media are people outside China. Western media is constantly demonizing anything communist and Chinese related just because such thing plays a critical roll in public opinion which directly translates into politics. In a nutshell, this brainwashing can be view as "manipulation of democracy through public opinion"
As a manager of the monitoring background, I must say that the function of these cameras is mainly traceability rather than monitoring. And those cameras belong to different departments of management, such as transportation, public security, emergency response, urban management, etc., due to the different investment time and allocation of construction funds, these departments only have their own private monitoring resources, and can not be shared with other departments, resulting in a lot of waste of resources. Now the government is integrating these monitoring resources and unifying them into the smart city management department for unified management.

1. If a person borrows money from a bank and doesn't pay it back or has financial faults. Then that person has a bad record in the financial system. In the future, there will be restrictions on loans and borrowing money. For example, you can't use the signal card to overdraw or spend on luxury goods. If foreigners say the score. China is a huge country with really high level of demographic diversity, that’s why it’s much more important to establish a security system to ensure the stability of society and security of its people than emphasising too much on ‘privacy’. China is a smart country and it knows what is right to do at the right time, that’s why it grows so fast.

About the so called social credit system, the vlogger was asking legit questions but this boy was making many things up... Also there are many misunderstandings because of inappropriate usage of English words. For example, if you run a red light and cause an accident, you will be charged by the police and they will use the camera recordings as evidence. And then, you will have a crime record on your profile. Otherwise, no real harm, no one track you, no point deduction, no one check the cameras and nothing. Any warnings or punishments are written in the law. If it is not in the law, it does not exist. If this "red line" of score exist, like the one for drivers license, it should be written in some law. I don't think the majority of Chinese people are fixated on, or preoccupied with, the social credit score in their day to day lives. It is a system that does give pause to anyone thinking of breaking the law. Is it a good system for every society? That's debatable. 2. About the cameras. There is no real person behind the cameras just being there watching everyone. If so, with 1.4 billion population, it’s really a huge amount of work and no government on earth could afford that cost. The cameras are mainly doing recording and keep them in a certain period of time, so when there’s crime happens, the police can always go back to track what happened if it’s captured by the cameras.
