I can't get into many animes, but this one is definitely up there on my list!!!
A decade ago I was in Japan with friends and we went to a Maid Cafe much like this one. It was a small studio apartment and the lone maid working prepared everything for you right there at the table. She did a lot of stuff that I now recognize as Asmr triggers. This video brings back memories.

In Japan its normal for the maid girls to entertain and spoil their guests with affection and attention. So of course any guy would want a cute maid to sit down and share a milkshake and eat snacks with them.

I think you're second to none when it comes to roleplay videos, partly because you nail the role of whoever you're roleplaying as every time, and partly because you are great at creating the required atmosphere for the video. From the overall pastel colour palette, to little details like the menu, there's so much effort into creating the right setting that it's mind blowing.

I see your milkshake contains no ice cream. That would confuse most Americans except for those of us from New England. I was born in raised in Boston. In New England a milkshake consists of milk, syrup, and seltzer( soda water). In NY that same beverage is called an egg cream despite the fact it contains neither eggs or cream. The treat made from milk and ice cream ( known as a milkshake in most of 🇺🇸) is called a frappe in New England. Starbucks’ signature Frappuccino is a portmanteau of frappe and cappuccino.

A lot of places in the US that serve milkshakes have begun squirting whipped cream (or a chemical simulacrum thereof). To me, that's just a way to make the cup _look_ full while delivering less milkshake. >:-(
ordinaryaverageguy They do it with hot chocolate at the coffee shops too. I always ask for "No whipped cream" so they fill up the cup with the beverage I paid for instead of half with fake whipped cream.
I agree, like if the glass is pretty much full and they give me a small squirt of REAL whipped cream then I’m ok but when they fill it half way and put fake cream at top I get a little upset

I love these types of videos and I can't pinpoint why? Reading menus, ingredient lists, and food descriptions I just find them delightfully relaxing for some reason 😌 Oh and the trickling noise from the tea, I love water sounds. Looks like I'm having Slumber Pie 🍰
